Getting around:-
Buses here are frequent, and we have the 9S bus that goes directly to DB North large grocery store and to the clubhouse at Siena near the new Hotel.

The number 7 bus takes you to the main DB Plaza and bus terminus that has the airport bus take you to Cathay city.

If you are coming from the airport, then go to Terminal 2 where there is a 20-25 minute airport shuttle bus no. DB02R that takes you to Discovery Bay for HK$35 for a single trip.

You can also approach the information desk to obtain an Octopus card, that is a stored value card for public transport around HK.

On arrival we were meet by moses one of the cleaners for handover and had a quick friendly induction of the apartment. Budget Friendly Hong Kong-Cheung Chau

Escape the noise and rush of the busy city areas, hope of a ferry, and head to Cheung Chau.

About 30 minutes from Central Piers on Hong Kong Island, Cheung Chau (Long Island) is a definite change of pace. There aren't any cars or large vehicles here, walking and bike is the main form of transport here. Small buggies are used for deliveries, and even the emergency vehicles are scaled down.

The space
Walk from the pier down to the beach / coastal side, have a drink at one of the cafes here while overlooking the water.

Cheung Chau is a great getaway, slower pace, excellent food. In May they have the annual Bun Festival.

You can find some good value eats. in those seafood outdoor restaurants, local eateries……
The giant fish balls and mango mochi, many more local street food are just so delicious.

The sunset over the water, on the pier side, is just pure magic.

Take a fast ferry over, but save some money and take the slower ferry back and savour the views.

Escape from the city and have a great time in a peaceful place near nature. We are a couple Sasha and Maggie and our flat is in the heart of Lamma, just 15 min walk from Yung Shue Wan pier. Power station beach is only 8 min walk too:)

We have a dog, Chau Chau, and he's very friendly. If you are allergic to dogs, please bring some antihistamines beforehand.

We follow a vegan lifestyle, so we kindly ask our guests to refrain from cooking meat or seafood in our home.
But pre-cooked is ok to eat indoors.
However, we have a bbq grill on the rooftop if they want to use it, and have skewers and other items available for that purpose.

We are also happy to help you with vegetarian food ideas if you want to try alternatives while staying with us!

The apartment is shared with one housemate who has her own ensuite room and one cat. You have your own private bedroom, office and bathroom. Perfect for single people who want to get away from the city, or writers who need a quiet space to write.

The space
The apartment is on the second floor and has its own covered rooftop accessible from indoor stairs. The rooftop has shade, hammocks, BBQ, a fan and everything you need to relax and watch the world go by.

The room has a large single bed that fits two people. There is also a double sofa bed in the living room if you prefer more space. You have your own private office that faces the sunrise, so it's great for writers or people who work from home.

Every room has air conditioning.

You also have a private bathroom accessible from the living room. Bedding and towels are provided. You can use the toiletries on display but please don't use the stuff in the drawers.

The kitchen is fully equipped, and even has a nespresso machine, instant pot, air fryer and thermomix.

The dining room table expands to fit more people and we have extra foldable seating if needed.

There's also a balcony that spans the entire length of the apartment, so lots of outdoor space and plants to enjoy.

Main Street, with all the restaurants and shops is just downstairs, but the area around the house is quiet.

You have your own private bedroom, office and bathroom. The living room, kitchen, balcony and rooftop are shared with my housemate. Depending on which day of the week you come or how long you stay, you are likely to have the place to yourself.

You will have your own set of keys to come and go as you like. We ask that you be mindful to keep the doors closed behind you to not let the cat out.

If you are allergic to cats, we can keep the cat in my housemate's room no problem. Please let us know in advance.

We are a 1 minute walk to the beach, 5 mins to the community BBQ pits. In any direction, there are hiking trails just waiting to be explored, leading through small farms and along the numerous beaches. Our flat is brilliant for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups (our adjacent flat sleeps an additional 4, if available).

A cozy little ground floor flat in the heart of Peng Chau. Our flat is well equipped for a weekend staycation or for the tourist who wants to see a different Hong Kong. We are close to walking paths, the beaches and restaurants (actually everything is close in Peng Chau). The newly renovated flat has an adjacent flat that can be rent together for large parties up to 8.We are a 30 minute ferry from Central. An 8 minute ferry from Discovery Bay & a 20 minute from Mui Wo, South Lantau.

To access our village from Hong Kong you need to take a boat.
Option 1: departure is from Aberdeen (direction yung shue wan- Lamma and first stop at PakKok village - 30mn journey).
Option 2 : from Central to Yung shue wan (30mn) and then connect with another boat on the same pier to PakKok (last boat 22h)

We are located in a friendly village just 1 min from Silvermine Beach, with a gorgeous private garden and a small pool in a safe environment for children, with mountains and secret waterfalls just behind. It is not unusual to see buffalo & cows wandering past!! The apartment is homely with 2 double bedrooms, a spacious sitting room, and a dining room, ideal for entertaining. We are just 5-min to the ferry in Mui Wo and close to many restaurants.
