You can walk out and find just about anything you need- bottled water, food, clothing, groceries, toiletries, coffee, tea, and beyond. It’s approximately a 15 minute, inexpensive ride to the airport, even with Chennai traffic. Despite being close to the airport, you don’t hear many airplanes passing by. During my 2 trips, I stayed in 2 different rooms. Both had all I needed. The rooms are quiet. The beds are comfortable."

The area around the hotel is somewhat messy, dusty and run down. In past, I was always asked if I wanted a meal, and an employee would go out to get one for me. This time, I wasn't asked and couldn't find a decent restaurant nearby. A few good fruit stands and Rogers Supermarket helped along with a well-stocked medical shop run by a very friendly and helpful pharmacist. "
