- "This hotel was phenomenal, from the second the concierge opened the door straight to checkout! We came here for my boyfriend’s birthday and were blown away. We stayed in the King Prestige room and it was huge, the bed was so comfortable and it was spotless as far as cleanliness goes. However, the communication that happens through WhatsApp is rather slow. - "Excellent" - "Not so good. We were extremely hot and had no control of the thermostat. The bed was not comfortable. The experience of staying in a condo and checking in was not as smoothe as staying at a hotel. Lastly, the parking garage that was recommended did not have overnight parking. We ended up having to spend approx $100 on parking. " - "The staff was very rude, I had a problem when I arrived to the property and when I tried calling to get ahold of someone, I was hung up on first, then I called back and a different person answered and tried to help but ended up taking down my Information wrong even though I repeated it 3 times so I called again, no answer, 2 more calls and no answer. At this point I’m extremely frustrated because it’s 5:30pm and check in was at 4pm and I had a concert at 7pm that I still needed to get ready for. On my 4th call I finally got an answer but i was immediately met with attitude, “yes” in an obviously annoyed tone “we sent it to your email.” So you knew it was me calling and decided to wait till the 4th call when you knew I was already irritated?? On top of that, it has now been 3 days and I still haven’t received a email back on where my refundable deposit is, after 2 attempts of reaching out. If I’m ever coming back to Toronto I will absolutely NOT come back here. Also it obviously wasn’t cleaned under the bed as there was items left from a previous guest, oh and the light above the mirror in the bathroom doesn’t work so hope you don’t have to get ready! "

Your bedroom has a deadbolt on the door (key provided for the duration of your stay), twin bed with linens, pillow and duvet. A desk with chair and a closet for your clothes. In the closet, we provide two bath towels for you. The curtains are blackout curtains if you want to keep out the sunlight. There is also a space heater should you need it.

The kitchen is shared. It has a fridge, stove, and microwave. Stocked with basic essentials.

The bathroom is shared and it has a lock on the inside. Towels are provided along with basic essentials.

There is street parking, however; you need to pay for it. The price varies on day/time, etc. It is approx. $10.50 a night. You can go to the City of Toronto's Parking Permit website. From there it will take you to a secure website where you can pay for your parking and print out your parking pass -to be displayed on your windshield.

My place is in the Seaton Village area close to The Annex, north of Bloor Street and west of Bathurst. It's a great location for visiting Toronto and Casa Loma is up the street. The TTC runs close to here and there is a bike rental stand right by the park next to the house.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. It isn't a five star hotel but it is clean and private.

The space
The apartment has its own entrance on the side of the house - so you can have as much independence as you want.

A very short set of stairs takes you into the main apartment area.

This is a basement apartment but it does have natural light in the bedroom and kitchen.

The kitchen is functional with microwave, kettle, toaster convection oven, full stove, slim fridge freezer.

The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet.

The main area has table and chairs, and a sofa bed chair.

The bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and dresser plus small dressing table and stool.

There is shared laundry room. The access to it is via the same stairs and space, but I would try to arrange in advance the times I need to come through it.

Its not a tall basement but quite comfortable if you're not over 6ft tall.

Dogs on the premises. They are quite friendly and they may bark if someone new comes to the door.

There is a garden to relax in too.

There's two large grocery stores just 5 mins walk away.

There's Vermont Park with kids playground, off leash dog park, hockey rink, indoor swimming pool next door.
