And you’ll love the magnificent mahogany shutters and doors (all fully screened, of course) all around the house.

Behind a Caribbean stone wall and next to the villa, La Bella Villa’s pool deck provides the perfect place for enjoying St. John’s sun and the views of Coral Bay and Bordeaux Mountain. The fresh water outdoor pool has ready access to a shower from the deck area as well as an entrance to the kitchen. With lounge chairs, a table and umbrella for reading by the pool, beach towels, and a nearby gas grill, you have all the comforts for an afternoon in the sun. We also provide beach chairs and a cooler for beach outings.

Opening from the pool deck, the kitchen is a recently installed custom kitchen with a granite counter top. It is modern and fully equipped.

The living room is furnished with traditional Caribbean furniture. With vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans, tiled floors and Caribbean art, it has a relaxing and inviting interior. For your entertainment, a British Colonial-style armoire houses the entertainment center, including a nice collection of movies, CDs, and games for guests’ pleasure.

The beautiful mahogany doors open to the 500 square foot deck with a fabulous view of Coral Bay. The porch has a wooden table which seats 6 for relaxed, al fresco dining. A comfy sofa and wicker rocking chairs make the porch an outdoor living room, cooled by breezes from Coral Bay and by ceiling fans.

La Bella Villa sleeps 4 comfortably in its two bedrooms, and has a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room for overflow. Both bedrooms are air conditioned, and the design of the house is such that with bedroom doors open, the living area also is air conditioned. However, you will rarely need to use the A/C.

The master bedroom features a romantic, British Colonial king-sized four-poster bed with luxurious linens, sconce lights above the bed, mahogany closets, a floor mirror, ceiling fans for a comfortable breeze to supplement (or replace) air conditioning, and views through glass/screened doors onto the porch and to Coral Bay itself. The master bath has a full, island style, walk-in tiled shower, footed sink, and comfortable privacy.

The second bedroom features a queen-sized bed as well as palm tree lamps on mahogany night stands. Overlooking the pool and with windows on three sides, this charming bedroom also features luxurious linens, Caribbean art, a ceiling fan for a cool breeze, and mahogany doors and window shutters. Ditto on the air conditioner!

After a day in the pool or at the beach, it is a short drive to one of the many fine or fun restaurants for which St. John is well known, including the famous Skinny Legs, Indigo Grill, Aqua Bistro, Wok on the Beach, and others right in Coral Bay. A 20-minute ride takes you to Cruz Bay which features numerous other great restaurants and more shopping.

Perhaps best of all is the great access to the popular, beautiful North Shore beaches and the opportunity to explore South Shore and East End beaches, which are less frequented.

A variety of birds frequent the immediate area which, depending upon the season, may include the largest hummingbirds you have ever seen, even parrots, and our popular native bird, the little but gorgeous bananaquit. Coral Bay, which is a little more funky and laid back than the Cruz Bay area of St. John, is also known for the island donkeys and goats that wander the streets and occasionally come near the villa. Our very own iguana family lives in the trees off the decks. And the night sounds of the tree frogs will lull you into a deep restful sleep.

- "We thoroughly enjoyed our week in paradise at the Secret Seashell and will strongly consider returning to enjoy this villa again (we visit Coral Bay regularly). The home is stunning and well appointed. We were attracted to the outdoor space including private pool, beautiful grounds and view as well as a large patio with a covered outdoor living room, and experiencing it in person far exceeded our expectations (even better than the pictures)! We primarily stayed on the main floor and it was exactly what we needed with a young toddler. In fact, we partly chose this villa because it is lower down on the peninsula and has balconies where a little one could not fit between the bars. Other than picking up a few items of sea shell decor, the home was already baby proofed enough that we could all relax and enjoy our time. The management team is great and recommended islandbabyvi.com from whom we ordered a pack-and-play, a couple baby gates and a booster seat, which were waiting for us in the foyer. The home interior is beautiful and comfortable. The outdoor shower off the master bath is just incredible and the whole matter suite is impressive. Both of the suites downstairs were very nice and one of them also has an awesome ornate stone shower that was indoors but still open air, so my wife often used it as well. Since visiting Coral Bay many years ago, we just keep coming back for more, and this home is in an awesome location without the steep mountain roads. Well be back!"

Ideally situated on Mamey Peak Road, Woodbine Villa is a spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped home with views out to both the North Shore and Coral Bay. The villa features solar power with battery back-up, a private pool (set at a comfortable 88 degrees year-round), a central location (only a 5 minute drive to Maho & Francis!), and all of the amenities needed for the perfect vacation on the beautiful island of St. John.

Woodbine boasts a completely updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and plenty of cooking necessities for making meals during quiet nights in. The attached living area offers a large couch and television for watching your favorite shows on Netflix or Hulu after a long day at the beach.

Through the kitchen and living room doors, the large deck area with pool welcomes guests with even more expansive views of Coral Bay and the British Virgin Islands. Float the afternoon away in the pool, watch the boats come and go from the harbor from one of the lounge chairs while reading a book, or simply enjoy the peaceful sunrise while sipping coffee from the outdoor dining area.

Featuring a family-friendly layout with two large bedrooms in the main house (all on one level with only two steps to enter the home) and an additional full studio apartment in the lower level, Woodbine sleeps up to six guests total.

The Master bedroom in the main house features a Queen-sized bed along with air conditioning, TV, and a full ensuite bathroom with double vanity and large tiled shower.

The second bedroom in the main house offers two twin beds (convertible to a King-sized bed), TV, and air conditioning. A second full bathroom with pedestal sink and large tiled shower is located off the main hallway.

The studio apartment, accessible from outside the home and down a set of steps, is perfect for another couple or older kids. The space offers a queen bed, large bathroom, full kitchen, and living area with TV and air conditioning. A small outdoor table is also suitable for enjoying breakfast and the breeze.

***Please note that the base nightly rate shown is for two total guests. There is a fee of $50 per person, per night for each additional guest. The maximum occupancy for the villa is six total guests. Access to lower studio apartment is provided only to parties booking for five or six total guests. Woodbine Villa also provides guests with a variety of beach gear, including: beach chairs, beach towels, and coolers with ice packs. We recommend renting snorkel gear and fins from either Beach Bum in Cruz Bay or Crabby's Watersports in Coral Bay.

The location of Woodbine Villa offers convenience, without compromising tranquility. A less than three minute drive down the mountain leads you to the entrance of the North Shore (Route 20), where the vast majority of the beaches are located. Imagine early morning snorkel trips to Francis Bay and still being able to enjoy a quick lunch at the villa before heading back down to relax the rest of the afternoon at Maho, Hawksnest, or Cinnamon Bay. The North Shore also boasts hiking trails, ruins, and a variety of watersports options, including kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding.

The town of Coral Bay, with various restaurants (many with live music numerous days a week), a grocery store, mini mart, and shops is a short 10 minutes east from Woodbine Villa. Venture the less than 20 minutes into Cruz Bay via North Shore Road for Happy Hour drinks with a sunset view or dinner at one of the many restaurants specializing in local caught seafood.

Emily provided a video showing what the drive up to house looked like so we knew what to expect. She also answered our questions and texts immediately. WV has very high end appliances and kitchen is well stocked! We brought cushions inside from deck after first night as heavy dew or showers made it uncomfortable to enjoy morning coffee out there. Beds very comfortable. Donkeys in the neighborhood amusing! Pool lovely. Location on coral bay is so close to beaches! Would highly recommend."

- "The location was perfect. The accommodations were perfect. They were amazing hosts-so kind and friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. They pick you up from the ferry help you get to your rental and "around" upon arrival-take you to the grocery store and then to the location. The walk down to the beach is short but steep. Loved being able to go down to beach and sit in lounge chairs reserved for us at any time. Especially morning. It is stunning. The beach, the house, the views, the location, the hosts--I really can't say enough good things. Leaving was the only bad thing. We will be back!"

Cloud Nine’s great room is a traditional Caribbean structure with soaring 20 foot vaulted ceiling with exposed rafters and beams. The Cloud Nine kitchen is equipped with a gas stove/oven, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker and filtered tap water- no need for single-use plastic water bottles! You’ll find the kitchen well stocked with basic pantry needs including: coffee filters, paper towels, sugar/Splenda, an assortment of spices, and complete cooking and dining utensils. A gas grill is located just outside the kitchen by the front door.

Cloud Nine is perfectly set up for outdoor living and dining. The massive 1,200 square foot deck accommodates chaise loungers, covered alfresco dining, and plenty of open space for lounging in the sun or shade. True to the St John lifestyle, you’ll find yourself spending most of your time outside. And just wait for those magical sunsets!

Cloud Nine is conveniently set up with separate pods for both of the ensuite bedrooms, accessible via a covered walkway to the main living/dining area.

Bedroom #1 features a king bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, and double doors that open onto the pool courtyard and view. Ensuite is a large double vanity bathroom and garden shower that opens onto the pool deck. The laundry room with full-size washer/dryer is located behind the primary bedroom in an attached utility room.

Bedroom #2 features a king bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, and double doors that open onto the pool courtyard and view. The single vanity ensuite bathroom has a closet and private garden shower.

Bedroom #3 features a semi-private loft at the top of the stairs in the main great room. It has a queen bed and two additional twin beds. A private bathroom and shower are at the base of the stairs. The loft is air conditioned by way of the main house unit.

From Cruz Bay take the beautiful North Shore Road to experience the unspoiled beaches of Honeymoon Bay, Hawksnest, Cinnamon Bay, Maho Bay, and Trunk Bay which was just rated the #1 beach in the world!

There is a bright light on the AC units, so if you need total darkness to sleep in, you might want to bring a sleep mask. We found the access to the home very easy with multiple parking options (you are not fighting any kind of steep driveway). Overall we had a fantastic trip and would highly recommend this home!"

SAPPHIRE SUNRISE private mid island location. Island life usually includes the possibility of power outages. Sapphire Sunrise has solar panels and Tesla power walls so searching for candles and flashlights are a thing of the past.

Sea Spirit is a 600-sq foot cottage superbly located on top of a dramatic cliff with sweeping ocean views and great breezes. Your privacy is ensured by National Park surroundings. It has some of the best hush-hush snorkeling at the front of the house that exists on island... caves, live reefs and ultramarine blue drop offs with rays and dolphins. There is a resident spotted eagle ray at the front of the house. From its unique location you can walk to 2 pristine beaches. Kiddle Bay is very Maine-like with large flat stones that crackle at night, becoming sandy on one side. The other is Grootpan Bay and tends to be empty. If there is ever anyone there, it tends to be a nude beach. It is a mix of sand, small pebbles and coral. Both bays offer awesome snorkeling.

A short drive takes you to either Salt Pond Beach or the Lameshuur bays. Your constant companions are the umbrella of stars at night, the smell of salt air and the sounds of the wind and the waves and the occasional deer grazing in the yard. The restaurants and shopping amenities of Coral Bay are only minutes away, though you might prefer enjoying the deck. It won’t be long before your biggest worry is opting for sunset drinks at Sea Spirit or at one of the local eateries, stargazing or enjoying the musical scene in Coral Bay.

What’s no dilemma is our rates, we challenge anybody to procure such an experience as Sea Spirit for the price. Such a well-appointed cottage in such a one-of-a-kind location simply can’t be compared to any other St John house. Enjoyed morning coffee on the porch watching the sail boats go by and adult beverages in the evening while stargazing. I must mention also the resident lizards and banana keet (bird) that greeted us every morning on the deck. The cottage was clean and had everything we could possibly need plus. A steady breeze kept us cool at night and the sound of the water against the rocks lulled us to sleep. Just bring some food and your favorite beverages. Quite and private. Read on line some people questioning the privacy. There are neighbors. We were there for 10 days. Saw one of the neighbors once and they both were home during our entire visit. Didn't hear them at all. I would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable private getaway at a great location to consider Sea Spirit. In fact after posting some pictures on Facebook, one of my friends contacted me as to how he can reserve it."

Drake's View has the same vista named by the magazine Caribbean Travel as 'the best view in the Caribbean'; a spectacular view of the British Virgin Islands and the East Shore of St. John. The villa has been voted 'Top Vacation Rental' for two years in a row now.

Drake's View is a four bedroom, 4.5 bath villa with a heated swimming pool, and hot tub that sleeps up to 8 people. Five tiled decks and a large tiled front porch provide ample outdoor lounging areas. One bedroom is in a separate cottage.

The traditional architecture of the house entrance with yellow stucco, red roof, and simple columns contrasts with a dramatic facade of glass along the east wall. No matter where you look in the house or cottage, you have a fantastic vista of Coral Bay, Drake's Passage, and the British Virgin Islands.

On a clear day, you can see the Baths at Virgin Gorda. Rainbows, mangrove cuckoos, kestrels and red tailed hawks are common sights. Drake's View has the ambiance of a home rather than a rental. The large great room is furnished with Indonesian, American antiques, and comfortable, plantation style furniture. The villa is filled with local art and a large reef painting and mobile by Robert Tharsing.

The well equipped kitchen is very spacious and includes one of two dining areas. Three bedrooms have king sized beds and one has a king, convertible to twins. Each bedroom has air conditioning, private bath and Swedish TempurPedic mattresses.

One to four couples or a large family will have ample room for privacy, different activities,and for relaxation at Drake's View.

Drake's View is centrally located, on Bordeaux Mtn the highest point on St. John. The roads leading to Drake's View are all paved. It is surrounded by lush local vegetation and a large, terraced tropical garden with lime, coconut and mango trees. It is a six minute drive to the Northshore Beaches; three minutes to the Reef Bay Trail; ten minutes to Coral Bay; and fifteen minutes the Cruz Bay. From the front door, you can hike the Bordeaux Mountain Trail to Lameshur Beach in one hour.

St. John has fabulous snorkeling, diving, and hiking. The snorkeling is among the best in the Caribbean. Since 2/3 of the island is National Park, many beaches have amenities but no developments mar the expanse of sand and palms. From St. John, it is easy to take day trips to visit other islands such as the popular yachting destinations of Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, Virgin Gorda, Peter, and Norman Islands.

The Park Service also offers snorkeling tours, hikes, birding tours, sails, archaeological digs, and lectures. Numerous park trails lead to stone ruins of old sugar mills and plantations, petroglyphs, and even waterfalls if rainfall is plentiful.

St. John is reached from St. Thomas via a twenty min. ferry ride.

Our family glamping site with AC is new this season! Two seperate container rooms each with a queen matress, fresh linens and towels will be waiting for your arrival. One conatiner has an additional twin mattress, and the other has room for a twin air mattress for a 6th guest. A TV, recessed lighting, air conditioning and small fan are in both containers for your comfort. The family site has a large deck with 4 adirondack chairs and table connecting the two rooms.

Our Lameshur Campsite is conveniently located next to the national park for easy access to hiking trails and beaches. The closest beach being Salt Pond right down the road.

There is a outdoor kitchen and lounge area that all campers can use. It has a full size fridge, big flat top grill, and outdoor dining area and bar seats. All utensils and cookware are provided along with fresh drinking water. Coffee pot and blender are also provided. A dartboard is ready for your enjoyment along with some board games.

A single outdoor bamboo shower is stocked with shampoo and body soap. A single bathroom is located just past the kitchen/shower area. Both are in the shared spaces for the three glamping sites to use.

A twin air mattress is available to sleep a 6th guest for an extra fee.

The photos are accurate but the home is even better than a photo can capture--the high quality construction, hand-carved mahogany staircase to the rooftop, furnishings, and outstanding views in complete privacy and quiet. There is a clean pool and extra large hammock for relaxing. The kitchen has full panoramic views, as well as multiple decks with even more views. For us, peaceful Ajax Peak was the best location for easy access to all parts of the island. We especially appreciated making a quick trip to the North Shore to be the first ones in the water for a morning snorkel or an early evening snorkel at Maho or Trunk Bays after the crowds have left. Sunsets and star gazing from the rooftop deck, what a great way to end a full day of snorkeling and exploring. Birds, butterflies, and deer were welcome visitors. Villa Zusammen -- formerly known as "Sea Cay” -- has been a popular vacation property on St. John for over 20 years! In 2015, new buyers purchased and extensively renovated the multi-level estate. The owners renamed it Zusammen, which means “Together.” Indeed, Villa Zusammen brings together indoor/outdoor living in a space that equally celebrates luxury and the raw beauty of nature!

The space
Villa Zusammen boasts 3 master suites, all with en-suite bathrooms and ocean views. Each bedroom includes a king-sized bed with luxury bedding and individually-operated A/C units. Two of the rooms have private lanais for relaxing and watching the waves.

The air conditioned great room promises to be a popular gathering place! In addition to a high-beamed vaulted ceiling, the room is appointed with comfortable rattan seating and a large HDTV flat screen. The updated kitchen features new granite countertops and stainless steel appliances to meet all of your cooking needs. Meanwhile, the kitchen island breakfast bar is an excellent spot for chatting over coffee or keeping your “chef” company while they’re working their magic in the kitchen. The indoor dining table has seating for six. If you want to take it outside, the covered patio with a KitchenAid grill and teak dining table is perfect for an al fresco feast or game night. Our new and improved campsites have been upgraded to air conditioned container rooms! A queen matress with fresh linens and towels are ready for your stay. A TV, recessed lighting, air conditioning and small fan are also newly added to our sites. We have installed large decks with railings in front of each container room which also have two adirondack chairs and table. The conainer rooms are a new upgrade, so all reviews prior to August 1st 2024 are from the previous nylon tents.

Our Lameshur Campsite is conveniently located next to the national park for easy access to hiking trails and beaches. The closest beach being Salt Pond right down the road.

There is a outdoor kitchen and lounge area that all campers can use. It has a full size fridge, big flat top grill, and outdoor dining area and bar seats. All utensils and cookware are provided along with fresh drinking water. Coffee pot and blender are also provided. A dartboard is ready for your enjoyment along with some board games.

A single outdoor bamboo shower is stocked with shampoo and body soap. A single bathroom is located just past the kitchen/shower area. Both are in the shared spaces for the three glamping sites to use.

A twin air mattress is available to sleep a 3rd guest for an extra fee.

We are located on the furthest side away from the ferry on which you will arrive. We STRONGLY suggest renting a car. You can find our exact location on maps as Lameshur Cottages and Campsites.

Villa Overview

Completed in 2012, On a Clear Day… was built as an eco-friendly vacation home for fun, families, flexibility, health, nature, and finally and most importantly, life renewal. Your stay should rest your soul, invigorate your body, and restore your spirit. From the privacy and tranquility afforded by the National Park’s location to the structure’s exercise room and 54 foot long pool lap lane for workouts to a completely flat first floor (including one bedroom) for guests with physical challenges, this villa offers something for everyone.

For those interested in learning more about Green Energy Conservation, On a Clear Day… is a 5 Star Tropical Green Building, as certified by St. John’s Island Green Living Association. The villa makes use of low solar gain, low-E glass throughout together with LED lighting and Energy Star appliances and TVs. Low flow WaterSense plumbing fixtures, dual flush toilets, individually controlled high SEER-rated ductless air-conditioning units, solar heated domestic hot water, and a solar reflective metal roof sitting atop a thermal reflective blanket and fiberboard insulation round out the design. The entire villa is powered by ground-mounted photovoltaic arrays situated on land just below the structure. The villa is also equipped with an emergency generator should there be an Island power outage. Continuing in the Green vein, On a Clear Day... utilizes organic-based fertilizer for its landscaping and the mildest forms of insecticide for pest control.

The Interior

The entire interior is enclosed in one structure. Four large bedrooms comprise the sleeping space, three at 308 square feet and the master at 480. Three contain king size beds, the fourth with two twins that can easily be brought together to create king sized sleeping. All bedrooms have ceiling fans, locking safes, secluded balconies, and private baths with dual sinks and tumbled marble showers. Each has an individually controlled air-conditioning unit along with a 40 inch LED TV with Dish Satellite programming, Roku capability, and a Blu-ray disc player.

The kitchen offers Brazilian granite countertops and environment-friendly bamboo cabinetry and is equipped with an ultra-quiet dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, convection oven/range with hood, microwave, and wine cooler. A second icemaker (stand-alone) and refrigerator/freezer are offered for increased capacity. A washer/dryer is available for guests along with a Weber outdoor gas grill. The kitchen has counter seating for 4 and abuts a dining room with seating for 8 to 10.

The Great Room is furnished in contemporary, eco-friendly bamboo/rattan and offers panoramic views of the pool, pool deck, and Francis Bay. A 60 inch LED TV, also with Dish programming, Roku capability, and Blu-ray disc player, is available for your viewing and music pleasure.

An air-conditioned exercise room provides a Bowflex home gym, Sole elliptical machine, and a Concept II rowing ergometer.
All water for the house, including drinking and showering, is filtered through a Sanitron triple filtration system utilizing filters for sediment, taste (charcoal), and microorganism eradication (ultraviolet). The UV system removes bacteria, viruses, parasites, and mold.

High speed Internet is provided by Love City Community Network (LCCN), a 501(c)(3), non-profit
initiative initially set up by volunteers in 2017 immediately following Hurricane Irma in order to
provide emergency communications for St. John. LCCN has been extremely dependable. Wi-Fi
transmits to every room. A voice-over-internet-protocol (VoIP) phone system is also available at
the villa. Regarding off-property cell phone usage, please consult with your personal cellular
carrier regarding its availability and quality in the USVI and particularly on St. John.

Outdoors

A wide pool deck supplies comfortable lounging with incomparable views of Francis Bay below and St. Thomas in the distance. Poolside offers various degrees of sun protection from out and out tanning to partial protection provided by trellises to complete coverage. A low chemical saltwater pool runs 3 foot 4 inches to 4 foot 6 inches in depth and contains a 54 foot long, 7 foot wide lap lane for exercise and an in-pool bench for relaxation. A screened-in porch off the dining room offers space for bug-free outside eating, socialization, and work and easily opens to the pool deck via sliders.

Reef Protection

USVI now mandates use of reef-sparing sunscreens. This means avoiding products with the three “O’s”—oxybenzone, octinoxate, and octocrylene. Not only do these chemicals and others stress and damage ocean ecosystems including coral, they may affect human health. Zinc oxide-based, plant/mineral derived, biodegradable, natural products are now available that fulfill the criteria for “reef-safe” and which you can bring to St. John or purchase on island.

- "On A Clear Day is a fantastic, beautiful, one of a kind house. It was perfect for our family of 9. We were able to spend quality time together and have privacy at the same time if needed. The "kids" room which is close to the "parent's" room was a big plus as the age of the kids were 5 and 7. The pool was a highlight for all of us, but especially the children who were in it first thing in the morning and last thing at night. The bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen were all well equipped. As were beach items including chairs, towels, beach bags, and beach toys. The location for us was perfect. Quiet and remote, but not too far from any beach we wanted to explore. He said it was pretty good, some parts of the trail a little rough, but he got a good run in. -hiked the trail at salt pond -sunset at the windmill ( mid island) great views. One of the things I was most struck by was the light of the dark night sky at this house. In the evening, your view is the ocean, the mountains and the starry night sky. There are no “town” or cuty lights polluting your view. It’s simply a stunning view with the sounds of the waves hitting the shore. Awe inspiring."

Villa Tamarindo is located high on a ridge bordering the VI National park. We have private access to the Caneel Hill Trail which leads to a nearby overlook and on to the North Shore beaches. The villa is only one mile from the shops and restaurants of Cruz Bay yet is tucked away in a private area. The road is paved all the way to your large flat parking area and does not require 4WD. Villa Tamarindo is managed and maintained by the owners and we can assure you everything in the house will be clean and in perfect working condition. We constantly upgrade the house and this year in November replaced the beds, great room furniture, dishwasher and much more. In addition to the main house we have a garden apartment with a queen bed spacious bathroom full kitchen with bar seating area. The apartment has a living room breakfast nook and patio seating area. The apartment is available as an additional room or on its own with separate parking and entrance

The villa has two master bedrooms with king size beds making it perfect for two couples or a family with the twin option in one room. The stunning views from every room and the secluded garden pool deck give you a reason to return home early from the beach every day. The ridge top location is almost always breezy and bug free. Individually controlled air conditioning in the bedrooms give you comfort year round.

The villa has a central great room and kitchen with the master suites off to each side. Walk through closets lead into the baths with their stone and tile showers. The terrace deck runs the length of the home with private entries from each room. This deck has a covered dining area with fans off the great room and plenty of room off each side for sunning on the lounge chairs.

The fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances and corian counters. All appliances are state of the art and you will find every whisk, spatula, and knife you need including service for 12, plenty of glasses and cloth napkins. Villa Tamarindo is truly a 5 star facility.

Our great room has Wireless Internet, Satellite TV DVD CD with speakers for the pool deck. The house also has a full laundry.

The antique bricked pool deck has hardwood furniture round a teak ships hatch style table under a thatched palapa for al fresco dining. A large Weber grill will assure the biggest BBQs go off with out a hitch. Or relax in the sun or under the umbrella on the lounge chairs.

Villa Tamarindo comes with all the amenities you will need for your vacation including beach chairs, towels, coolers, and pool floats. Don’t even worry about bringing shampoo, soaps, hairdryers or an iron. There is also a bocce court on the grounds for some afternoon competition between guests.

Perhaps our biggest draw is the proximity of the National Park. Our own spur trail leads 20 yards to the Caneel Hill Trail and the Caneel gut trail. A five minute walk leads you up to the observation platform on Caneel hill and a 360 degree panorama. Another twenty minutes and you are on Soloman or Honeymoon beaches reachable only by boat or trail. Or stroll down the gut trail amidst trees almost as old and impressive as our own giant tamarind tree.

Located on the quiet end of Coral Bay this is the perfect place to stay and get back to nature and away from the everyday grind and stress. Things move a bit slower out here so a great opportunity to enjoy some quiet time, beaches and trails. A car is recommended for the best vacation but we are close to a bus stop so those on a budget can also manage

The space
This space is an entire 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit. Kitchen, balcony/patio area. Private entrance and no shared access. 2 queen beds in bedrooms. We provide a clean, comfortable space for guests who want all the amenities of home but don’t want to spend their whole budget on a place to stay. Located on the quiet side of coral bay, you can fall asleep to the sound of tree frogs and then take an easy stroll to salt pond bay in the morning. We have a private parking lot and are on a flat lot making day trips easy without the hassle of where to park your vehicle.

Nya boasts one bedroom with a Queen bed, complete with sunrise and water views. The large sliding door allows the tradewinds breezes to cool the room throughout the day. At night, turn on the air conditioning unit to recuperate from the St. John sun and fall asleep to the sounds of the nearby tree frogs.

The full bathroom offers a completely private outdoor shower with the perfect view out to the bay.

Nya also features a small kitchenette with a coffee maker, toaster, blender, microwave, two burner hot plate, and compact fridge with freezer.

The two outdoor spaces are the highlight of this mountainside retreat. The first, which is located through the bedroom sliding doors, is the perfect spot to drink coffee in the morning and watch the boats sail in and out of the harbor. The other outdoor space is accessible via the unique spiral staircase outside the main entry door. At the top, the 360 degree view will leave you in awe. The lounge chairs invite you to sunbathe or stargaze.

Nyabinghi also provides guests with a variety of beach gear, including: beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach towels, and cooler with ice packs. We recommend renting snorkel gear and fins from either Beach Bum in Cruz Bay or Crabby's Watersports in Coral Bay.

Our guests have the entire apartment to themselves, and downstairs there is a shared, complimentary, laundry facility. Our place comes with a dedicated car-parking space included in the rental.

Our location on the edge of the main downtown area of Cruz Bay allows guests to walk to our place from the main public ferry docks. You will find us directly behind the National Park Visitors' Center which is where you can book excursions and get some handy information about our beautiful island. We are also close by the many restaurants, bars and boutiques of Mongoose Junction and Wharfside Village.

Best of all we are at the head of the Lind Point Trail which offers a gentle hike down to Salomon and Honeymoon Beaches.

You are renting a private villa and will have full access to the pods, pool and deck. A caretaker does live on the property, in a separate building completely private from the guest villa/deck. There is a 13 yr old lab mix, Guinness, that lives on the property, and is very friendly.

Relax in the pool and enjoy the many outdoor spaces. Stargaze on the deck at night or have a game night with the kids in the main pod.

Casa de Suenos (House of Dreams) is located on a private hillside overlooking John's Folly, on St. John's quiet and gorgeous south side, near the hamlet of Coral Bay, with lively and affordable restaurants and solid Caribbean charm. A large four-bedroom property with additional guest cottage, Casa de Suenos offers the space for a large family and also the possibility to secure rental of the guest cottage alone as a romantic escape for two. Please refer to "guest access" section before booking.

Casa de suenos features A/C in the bedrooms to keep you cool in the evenings. The open floor plan in the main living area provides a spacious area for friends and family to relax, socialize and enjoy the views of the Caribbean Sea. A separate cottage is available to rent (at an additional cost) which provides extended living quarters for those looking for some privacy from the rest of the home.

*The cottage is not rented to other parties when guests are in the main house.

The Cottage (located right next to the main house): The guest cottage has a fully-equipped kitchen, Smart TV, A/C in the bedroom, half-bath upstairs, private deck and breathtaking views. A spiral staircase leads down to the bedroom and there's a full bath on the lower floor. The cottage features a queen size bed.

If your party has more than 10 people, you can add the following add-ons upon checkout:

One twin roll away: $25/night

Queen futon: $25/night. There's a queen futon located in the media room, between the two lower bedrooms. If this room is not needed for extra persons during your stay, the room is locked.

Guest access
Please know that rates are adjusted based on the number of bedrooms that are needed. Therefore, if you have 5 guests and need all 5 bedrooms, change your occupancy to "10," otherwise we will only provide you with 3 bedrooms with a 5 person occupancy. The bedrooms that aren't used during your stay are locked. We do not rent out the other bedrooms to guests if you don't book the entire home. If the right information is not given to us at the time of booking, guests run the risk of either not having access to all of the bedrooms or being charged accordingly at time of arrival.

Other things to note
Maintenance & operations: We are not responsible for mechanical failures of non-essential or luxury items, including, but not limited to Television, Wifi, Satellite/Cable Service, Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer, Air Conditioning or any other appliance that fails to operate properly during your stay. No refunds will be issued for minor disruptions of any utilities or appliance including, but not limited to, power outages, water outages, telephone service, etc. as these issues are out of our control.

Please report inoperative equipment right away and we will make every effort to have repairs done as quickly as possible during reasonable hours. Speed of service cannot be guaranteed due to our reliance on island services, repair and utility companies.

Cancellation policy: In the event you are forced to cancel, we will make every effort to re-book your villa for a 15% service charge. However, no deposits will be refunded unless a replacement rental is obtained. We may be able to reschedule your visit to another time slot in the future. Refund arrangements can largely depend on the amount of notice given to us of the cancellation, and on the time of year. For peace of mind, we recommend purchasing traveler’s insurance. No refunds will be given for early departure unless there is a serious problem that cannot be cured within 24 hours or causes the guest extreme discomfort or serious inconvenience.

The cottage is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for
a charming space surrounded by national park. This great on-island location is minutes from North Shore beaches.  The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen & plenty of private outdoor space to enjoy. With two different outdoor seating areas a barbeque grill and a small hot tub. Beach chairs, towels and a cooler are provided for guest use during their stay. Also included is use of our private tennis court/recreation area.

Heaven’s Gate sits alone, high atop a hill, surrounded by Virgin Islands National park lands, with sweeping, unobstructed 180 degree views of Hurricane Hole and open ocean dotted with small islands and cays, including Leduck Island, Peter Island, and Tortola. This mountaintop retreat affords complete peace and privacy and is close to world-class snorkeling at Haulover Bay just below. It is also close to Brown Bay Trail, one of St. John’s best hiking destinations. This trail connects with the Johnny Horn Trail, which takes you to the Annaberg Sugar Plantation Ruins.

The villa includes a private sparkling pool with built in seating, a gourmet kitchen, a large comfortably furnished great room, and both upper and lower level covered terraces framing the breathtaking views. And it is all surrounded by beautiful gardens and extensive tropical landscaping. The property sits on over an acre of private land. Its hilltop location facing east provides direct exposure to the cooling winds, unlike many other properties that remain hot with little to no breeze. You may open the French doors to enjoy the natural cooling of the Caribbean trade winds while you relax.

Guest access
You may check in anytime after 3pm. Early check-ins can be arranged if you request one and I confirm with you that the cleaning team has finished their preparations for you.

Other things to note
It is required that you input an accurate guest count for your group prior to booking.

It is highly recommended that you rent a Jeep or similar SUV for your island adventure. Small cars are inappropriate for many of St. John's roads. I recommended Courtesy Car Rental which provides the best service of all.

Please take into consideration that June through November is hurricane season. This property is not equipped with a back up generator or power supply in the case of a power outage.

All profits from rentals of this property go toward the reconstruction of my family's farm, Coral Bay Organic Farm and Garden Center, which was destroyed in hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017. If you decide to book, we thank you for being an important part of this effort to revitalize the only reliable source of local salad greens, vegetables, herbs, and fruits to the community of St. John.

This listing is the only legitimate platform for renting this property. All other listings advertising Heaven's Gate villa and/or its photographs for the purpose of attracting tenants (Craigslist, VRBO, etc.) are fraudulent and we appreciate anyone who reports these to us via messaging on the Airbnb platform. We also do not lease the property via written or oral contract off of the Airbnb platform. All agreements to rent Heaven's Gate villa must be conducted through Airbnb.

COVID-19 Update: If the Virgin Islands Government mandates a travel ban on visitor arrivals and short term rental check-ins, and your reservation is affected, then you will be given a full refund or chance to change your reservation dates regardless of the cancelation policy.

Relax and enjoy the beauty of St John in this private estate. Orchid Court Villa consists of two homes on an acre of property. Located just off of the North Shore, within minutes to Trunk Bay and all North Shore beaches. The estate boasts one of the islands only private tennis courts, which also doubles as an amazing recreation area. Making it the perfect place for families or large groups. The property is centrally located with easy access to either side of the island. Pool & views included!

The space
The main house consists of 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms all with private balconies. There is a dining/living area and a fully equipped kitchen. There are also several outdoor seating areas.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with an additional bonus room. There is a full kitchen and outdoor seating areas. Barbeque grill also included.

There are also beach chairs and coolers available for guest use.

Cinnamon Day Dreams is a luxury villa with magnificent views located on the StJohn USVI exclusive North Shore. Most of the living areas are on the main level. There is NO A/C., but the trade winds keep the villa very cool.

The name Cinnamon Day Dreams is an accurate description of the setting - private, peaceful and quiet…. perfect for daydreamers. Cinnamon Bay and Maho Bay lie below you and offer excellent swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, wind surfing, sunning and stress free relaxation.

The space
Bedrooms. The two bedrooms are equal in size (about 225 sq.ft.) and each includes a private balcony or deck with elegant mahogany cabinetry and Saltillo-terracotta tiled bath. All the bedrooms include custom built mahogany 4-poster beds that emphasis privacy and the romantic views. The third bedroom is located in the spacious upstairs loft.

Kitchen. The gorgeous kitchen is defined by granite, mahogany, and lovely views seen through stone-arched entrances that run the length of the kitchen and great room. A granite and mahogany bar/counter that seats 6 separates the kitchen from the outdoor lanai. Behind the bar is a gourmet kitchen with custom built mahogany cabinets, granite counter tops, an under counter beverage cooler, Bosch 4-burner stove, built-in oven, large refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, built -in microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and abundant cookware and dinnerware.

Outdoor living area. One of the most popular design features in an island home is the lanai (outdoor living/dining area). Cinnamon Day Dreams takes great advantage of its lovely setting with its comfortable 500 sq.ft. lanai. This is more than a deck with furniture; it’s an outdoor living area with comfortable furniture and a 6 person dining table that protects you from the sun and the occasion island shower. From the lanai you look through columned arches at the beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea, Tortola and the unspoiled National Park.

Pool and patios: Renovated in 2019, the villa is notable for its expansive infinity-edge pool, terrace and large hot tub. The 2,000 square feet meandering terrace on the main level overlooks the Caribbean Sea and Tortola. Well manicured lounging areas take full advantage of the views and are a great spot for supervised children to play.

Fire pit: Newly added in 2019, the fire pit is a great place to spend your evenings to talk or reminisce about the happenings of your day.

For your comfort, there is a secured gate at the entrance of Cinnamon Day Dreams. Access code will be provided before guests arrival.

CliffHouse is located in lower Peter Bay, a gated neighborhood on the North shore of St. John USVI. The villa is 12,000SF & sits 100 feet up from the shoreline, meaning every room has incredible views of the BVI and the private Peter Bay beach (which is only a 5-min walk away). Great views from the saltwater pool & jacuzzi. All bedrooms & gym have JBL portable speakers and Smart TVs. Pod style layout ensures privacy + AC in all pods.

The space
There are 3 large king bedrooms suites plus a bedroom with 2 queen beds. All suites have spacious bathrooms and there is a half bath off the kitchen. There is strong wifi across the property and a large gym to stay in shape on vacation.
