The room also smelled like cigars, despite the listing claiming a no-smoking policy.When we opened the pull-out couch so our children could sleep in the living room (since their room was too hot), we found cheeseballs in the cushions—an obvious sign the property was not cleaned properly. The bathroom sink also released gray water when first turned on.I contacted the host during our stay and received a dismissive response with zero attempt to make it right. We contacted VRBO after checkout, only to be told the host controls refunds—even when listings are misleading and unsafe.We left early, disappointed, and extremely uncomfortable. This place does not match what is advertised, and the host takes no accountability for the conditions. Rent somewhere else."
