- "This apartment in Batu Feringghi was perfect for our stay. The kitchen, two bedrooms/bathrooms and large living room space made for a very convenient stay. It was a short walk to the night market and lots of good places to eat, and a convenient mini market was located right across the street (and is open 24 hours!). Our favorite restaurant was a short walk away (Living Room Cafe Bar and Gallery) and Ben and Amy were perfect hosts! It took us a day or two to get used to the call for prayer broadcast starting at 5:30AM, but after a while, it was was easy to ignore. The pool was great -- we almost had it to ourselves most of the time -- and the beach was a short walk away and pleasant (even with the jellyfish warnings). We spent a lot of time in the water at the beach, and never had any problems. Finally, Germeine was a great host, helping make our stay pleasant and stress free!"
