There is a main road in the nearby so it might be a little noisy. That being said, most guests didn't feel it's an issue at all.

There is an air conditioner in one of the rooms but the main heating source during Winter season are Kerosene Heaters, which are more powerful for heating the room faster. The heaters almost doesn't smell and most people get used to it inmediately but some guests might be a little more sensitive to the kerosene smell so please keep this in mind before booking.

The Summer in Karuizawa is less hot than most places in Japan which is the main reason why so many people love Karuizawa. We have an air conditioner in one of the rooms and electric fans for the other room and the kitchen to keep the place even cooler!

* Please refrain from using the fire pit during strong winds, as there is a risk of forest fires.
Please be sure to smoke only on the terrace or bonfire space, and take your cigarette butts home.There is absolutely no smoking (including electronic and heated cigarettes) in all bases.
