The house is divided into 2 completely separate living spaces. My family lives on the ground level, and then there are 4 rooms on the upper level (1st floor). These rooms each offer different amenities and layouts. Two have full kitchens inside, and two are just bedrooms. Everyone staying here has access to 2 toilet stalls (one western, one Indian) and 2 bathing stalls (both have hot water geysers). There is also a very large open hall space that's used for hosting dinners, drying laundry, or exercising. Bathrooms and hall are cleaned daily. There are laundry lines up on the roof.

Your bedroom and kitchen are strictly for your use. No one else has access to this space but you, and no one will enter the space while you are staying here. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need for cooking/eating.

My family is always available downstairs to help you with anything! There's my mother, father, two sisters, and my twin brother any myself to help you. My father and mother speak mostly Hindi, but my siblings and I are all fluent in Hindi and English.

Other things to note
This room has been furnished and set up by a family friend from the USA. Everything in the room is hers, and she has happily agreed to share the space with visitors. Please be respectful of her things, but at the same time they have been left for you to use and enjoy. There's a small selection of books (in English) and a set of DVD movies as well. The kitchen items and bedding are yours to use for the duration of your stay. If something breaks or gets damaged, all we ask is that you tell us about it so we can replace it or fix it.

We have three master bed room with attached washroom. It has got modern kitchen and dinning cum living room. Cooking facility is available. Cooking utensils are available. Refrigerator and RO for drinking water is available. Beautiful green farm is next to house giving village feels.

We have two storied house. Only Ground floor is available for guests. Ground floor has three bedroom, Drawing cum dining hall and full fledge kitchen with amenities is available for guests.

Pan/Gutka spitting inside house in any manner is not allowed. On violation Rs 500 cleaning charge will be applied.
In case of less than 5 guest(4 or less) two rooms will be allowed. Guest are requested to avoid spoiling room which is not allowed to them.

It is located on a quiet no traffic side street.

The Lake Facing Lakeside Apartment is a self catering private apartment overlooking the beautiful Lake Pichola, having a small fully equipped kitchen.
It is on the first and second floors of Rosie's Retreat.
The entrance to the apartment is from the central courtyard of the property.
The bedroom has a Queen size bed dressed in beautiful hand block printed cotton bedsheets and quilt and cosy feather pillows.
There are bedside tables, a chest of drawers, wardrobe and two armchairs. A selection of books and magazines are offered for guests enjoyment as is Chess, Backgammon and Scrabble.
The room is fully air conditioned. There is also a fan and a room heater.
The bedroom window looks straight out over Lake Pichola.
The attached bathroom boasts the 'best power shower in India', loo and washbasin.

Handmade dressing gowns are provided for guests use during their stay and a hair dryer.
The water tank is one thousand litres and the heated tank is fifty litres at one time.
If you use all the hot water please allow the hot water heater a short time to reheat between showers.

Outside the bedroom is the beautiful green and lush breakfast terrace where guests can enjoy morning coffee or work on a laptop.

Up a flight of stairs is the private roof terrace overlooking the lake and a sacred Banyan tree, with comfortable lakeside seating, a shelter with a traditional charpai bed inside for snoozes or staying out of the sun or rain.

There is an inverter power back up in case of power cuts.
It powers a fan and some lights.
It does not power the AC or the Wifi .

There is secure paid parking at Kamal Niwas, Bhatiyani Chohatta , just five minutes walk from Rosie's Retreat or the rickshaw drivers charge 100 to 150 rupees for the journey.
This car park is neither owned by us nor managed by us and we are not responsible for their charges.
A member of our staff will assist with luggage.
Rosie's Retreat is approximately 1 hour from Udaipur airport.
We offer airport pick up and drop off at an extra charge.
