This is the house of my great-grandmother, rebuilt after the First World War. The village of Roisel was mined in 1918 as it was located on the front line. There are many cemeteries of Allied troops—British, Canadian, Australian—as well as graves of German soldiers in Roisel and the surrounding villages. The Historial of the Great War, located in Péronne, is 11 km away. You will also find a fishing course and the ponds of Péronne nearby. This is a family home where you will feel good together. The garden, with its large trees, is very pleasant. 90 km from amusement parks such as Disney and Parc Astérix, the TGV Haute Picardie passes near Péronne.

The space
My house is a contemporary house and very bright. The guest room and lounge at guests' disposal recall the colours of Notre Baie de Somme, one of the most beautiful bays in the world, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The driftwood is present in the form of decoration, seals ( we own a colony of seals and marine calves for several years ) which is the attraction for many tourists. My place is unique in that it's cozy and my hosts feel almost at home there. That's often what they tell me.

My guests have a room of 15 m2 , so spacious, very bright. They have a bed 140 cm long with lamps naturally. It has a large closet where they can store their clothes . A toilet is located right next to the bedroom . It is very popular with guests because it is separate from the room but located right next door. A small living room of 12 m2 is available to my guests: with a clic-clac , a coffee table, documentation on the surroundings, and a TV. If within the couple the man wants to watch TV, he does not annoy his wife who, she can be in bed. This click-clack can be unfolded and can accommodate 2 people ( children, teenagers or 1 couple). The bathroom: a sink, a corner bathtub, a shower for guests. A hairdryer and a blowing radiator are available to guests. Towels are provided as well as washcloths. The bed is the same. No need to take the sheets.

During your stay
Since I've been on AIRBNB, I've always hosted my hosts. I am present at their arrival regardless of the time. And I'm here when they leave. I connect with them because I love to talk . I am an open-minded person and I am interested in all the topics of conversation. In addition, I know my region well and I recommend it on the Bay of Somme and the visits to be made in the region: my accommodation is very well located because it is close to the very beautiful sandy beaches of the Bay of Somme: Fort-Mahon , Quend , Le Crotoy, Berck sur Mer, Pointe du Hourdel (viewpoint and guided tour to catch up with the seals ) . The city of Rue has a train station . We are 2 hours from Paris. My place is located near Abbeville ( 20 km) Amiens ( beautiful cathedral, gem of Gothic art,hortillonnages, you can visit Jules Verne's house and many other things. I am not far from Lille and the Hauts de France.

Other things to note
Guests who come by train and therefore arrive at Rue station. I'll pick them up in the car and drive them home too. Vehicles are safe on my property in my parking lot. Bicycles and motorcycles can be in my closed garage. Hosts who want to store food in my fridge can do so without any problems.
