Naked, exposed wiring where the switch for the bedside lamp should be ( I could have electrocuted myself reaching for the switch at night!). Very noisy water pipes from 3am. Escape to the beautiful Crabapple Garden Cottage on Diepgelegen working farm, nestled in the picturesque Magoebaskloof mist belt.
Come and experience this quaint little piece of heaven with 180° views from this cottage of the Ironcrown and surrounding countryside.
Walks through the Woodbush Forest Reserve, trail runs, mountain biking and fly fishing all within close proximity of Crabapple Cottage.
This cottage is 7km off the R71, on a gravel road and requires 4x4 access.

The space
The cottage is within the main house’s garden. It is fenced in, there are 5 dogs and 2 cats on the property. The cottage is completely isolated from the main house to ensure privacy for the guests.

Other things to note
The walkthrough the garden to the cottage contains stairs and is at least 100m from the parking area. Guests should be mindful when booking the cottage that luggage and groceries will need to be carried to the cottage. This may not be suitable for elderly people.
