- "Very nice" - "This is a wonderful hotel on an amazing little island. Our booking had a check in time of 5pm, but we arrived at 12 to drop our baggage in the luggage store to find the room was ready. We had a harbour-facing room with an amazing view of the island. The room was spacious, but best of all was a large terrace/balcony with loungers which was like another room. We did not eat at the hotel, so cannot comment, although we saw others having what looked like a very substantial cooked breakfast. Some themed meal nights. Our room overlooked the outside dining area but did not feel exposed. We didn't use the indoor pool because beaches were so close. Hotel is a short walk from the ferry arrival point, but it is a perfectly nice walk because there are few cars. The lower path involves some steps. The price of the stay includes the cost of the return ferry crossing: details emailed a few days before visit. The booking form provides for a crossing from Le Brusc but we asked to travel from Sanary and this was accommodated. (Cars can only cross from Le Brusc however). The island is delightful. It takes about an hour to walk around it. Lots of photogenic beaches (but some via rocky slopes). A few restaurants, all-day baker, a nice bar often with music staged, and a well-stocked shop that is not as expensive or unwelcoming as some reviews suggest. Lots of toilets around the island (good for oldies like us). Our new favourite place; magical."

- "Amelie, the host, was fantastic! She made us feel so comfortable and welcome as soon as we met. She spoke English, but would entertain my attempts at a few French words, and even help me learn some new ones. Our room overlooked the ‘golf’ and had a sleeping loft. It was just outside of the hotel with chaise lounge chairs, umbrellas, and refreshments for an additional fee. It was well worth it! Such a relaxing stay. We walked to the town promenade each night for shopping and dinner. The town shops and restaurants stayed open late, so we spent the day on the beach and late into the evening people watching, eating great food, and enjoying the French Mediterranean coast. - "We stayed in Sanary and The Hotel atmosphere for 3 nights. We could have stayed 2 weeks! The hotel is easy to find and close to shops and cafes. Although it does not have a view of the ocean it is a very short walk of about 300 metres. Our room was spacious with a really comfy bed. There is a courtyard area for breakfast under the canopy of a lovey shady Wisteria vine which must small and look divine in spring. The absolute highlight of this hotel was definitely Annette. She went above and beyond to help us organise our departure travel to Marseille. We had not researched the distance from Sanary to Marseille and the day before we were to leave realised that it was going to cost an absolute fortune in a taxi. Sanary has few taxis with most coming from Toulon and understandably they have to charge both ways. Annette sat with us and worked out the trains and booked them for us. She then found a local transfer guy that could take us to the local train station at 0645 in the morning. The station is within walking distance of about 20 minutes but our heavy bags squashed the idea. Luckily in Marseille I had paid extra for fast track security and we just made it to our gate with minutes to spare - THANK YOU ANNETTE! You made a very special stay in a very special town even more specialer! "
