This hotel didn't and was just 15 minutes away from my location. It is like walking into a time machine, back to the seventies. But although dated, it was clean, in good shape and very nice staff. - "A very cute and special hotel. Rooms are personal and cosy. Good service." - "Not an ideal location if you plan to use public transit to visit Lyon. Our cab from the train station was 70 euro, and in hindsight we could have stayed in just as nice of a hotel closer to the city after considering the price we had to pay in transportation. There was no one at reception when we checked in (during regular hours), my cell phone couldn’t connect to the assistance number so luckily our taxi driver allowed us to use his phone so we could call to be checked in. When the worker arrived at reception he was friendly and spoke fluent English. We visited in early June and our room was warm and damp with no option for AC because the weather wasn’t hot enough. We also expected to avail of the pool displayed in the photos for this hotel however the pool was closed. It must only be open during a specific time frame however, this time frame was not mentioned in the listing. Overall we had a mostly comfortable stay and the staff was nice, however the amenities were not as expected and the location was not convenient for the price."
