Really loved the very hot water in the shower, stayed in many places that only have like warm showers at best. O highly recommend the Raintree Motel if you need a night or 2 rest on your travels. - "My small unit had a single and a double bed with the toilet and shower in a separate small room behind a sliding door. It was perfect for my needs – staying overnight for a vintage machinery fair in Biloela. Everything was fresh and clean. It was a cold night and the reverse cycle air conditioner worked perfectly. The TV worked. When I checked in, I made a dinner reservation in the restaurant. Due to the CrowdStrike outage, when I arrived for dinner, my booking had been lost, and the restaurant was packed. The staff found me a table at the bar, and I was agreeably surprised to see how rapidly the order was taken, and my meal arrived. My grass fed steak was cooked perfectly. The staff were excellent. So, five stars in every category, apart from the surroundings. It’s on the edge of a country town in a semi industrial area, not in Monaco overlooking the sea."

(many most disappointing) and then to walk into the Apollo Motel reception and find a sparkling completely refurbished office with an extremely helpful staff member was quite a relief! And then to put the key into our room door and open it to find exactly the same! A freshly renovated, modern, clean, welcoming and every road travellers necessities catered for was such a relief! Microwave, toaster, kettle and to my joy a comfortable chair to sit in and relax and watch a little bit of long missed TV! (so many Motel rooms on the road only provide a bed or a desk chair!) And then a hair dryer I was nearly in bliss! The Apollo Motel is to be commended on their thought for their clients and the care and finishing touches that they have provided, well done!
