We had no idea what we were in for, especially after hearing that! As it turns out, this little "Fargo" was a highlight from our trip; we loved it. Traveling with a toddler and driving from Munich through to Switzerland, we stopped for a night at Val Blu and ended up wishing we had stayed longer. What a gorgeous area and a lovely place to escape to! Val Blu had everything for our family: comfortable and clean accommodations, outdoors recreation by the legions (on-site and off), and affordable, to boot! We wished we had stayed at least 2 days longer and are thinking of making it into a multi-family getaway spot for friends."

- "Good" - "Clean, comfortable hotel, quiet when we stayed there during low season, good location. Did not like the 4 pm check-in. Arrived at 1:30 pm. With no-one around, we used the code they sent to get into the reception. We were not able to get into the room, even though it was available. At 3 pm the receptionist arrived. Even though no-one else was around and we were obviously waiting, she did not offer to check us in until we asked if we can check in “early”, apparently as a favour. The rather late check-in, early check out times, along with the semi-functional automated system is for the convenience of the hotel, not the guests."

The space
Built around 1700, the inn where the Emperor and Empress were already guests, is a mix of imperial old building and jeweled new building. The 17 rooms are equipped with everything you need for a holiday in the mountains, at a 4-star level. Another highlight of the Post Dalaas is the largest indoor salt cave in Europe with a salarium, sauna and salt room.
The in-house restaurant and garden farm complete the stay culinary.
