- "Great resort with variety of pools and seaside area. Excellent facilities for kids. The food could have been better but unlimited ice cream and drinks made up for it." - "The Brac island was beautiful and the hotels location is awesome. The hotel, our room and the premises were all very nice and we enjoyed the all-inclusive nature of it but a really big trouble was with the reception staff - pretty much everyone was always on their phones and didn't even look up let alone say hello when guests came and went except if they were spoken to. They didn't offer any other information about the hotel, restaurant, bars or for example vehicle rentals, than was absolutely required them to offer. We really had to pry any infromation out of them and when we for example asked about trips to the blue cove or a car rental they didn't offer any assistance in getting what we needed but instead directed us to a nearby kiosk that wasn't even open at the time. The food at the restaurant ranged from decent to good but almost always the typical meal times were so crowded that there was no way to have a nice peaceful meal. However the staff at the restaurant was very friendly and up to their tasks. There were lots of rules regarding the use of pools (no jumping etc.) but no one kept any eye on how people behaved there and so they were needlesly stressfull. But still overall our visit there still was quite pleasant but it would have been a much nicer if the reception staff was up to the standards of the rest of the place and there were somekind of management of the pool etiquette."

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. However, our recent stay was unfortunately marred by a series of issues that impacted our experience. In one of our rooms, we encountered a clogged shower and a broken air conditioning unit, making for an uncomfortable stay. The refrigerator was also noticeably dirty upon arrival. In the second room, the AC unit was leaking. These maintenance issues are simply unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Considering we booked this hotel specifically for its beach amenities, we were severely let down, for two out of our four days, the hotel ran out of beach towels by 10 AM, with staff unable to provide any estimate for when more would be available. Furthermore, the hotel's beach chairs were completely claimed by 5 AM every morning, forcing us to pay for external chairs daily. This completely negated one of the primary reasons we chose this hotel. To compound these problems, the hotel staff seemed indifferent to our concerns. When we brought these issues to their attention, while they addressed them, there was a distinct lack of empathy or urgency to resolve them. A more friendly and proactive approach from the staff would have gone a long way in mitigating our frustration. While the location is undeniably a major draw, the multitude of problems was notable. - "Great for families with children! " - "Room was nice and clean on arrival, serviced daily. Safe wasn't working but was replaced quickly although not attached to the wall. Shower flooded but was quickly cleared and fine for the rest of the stay. Lots of USB ports to charge devices. Pool had lots of sunbeds and umbrellas and no rush to get one. The 2nd pool was nice but needed cushions on the wooden slatted beds. Activities going on throughout the day, if you wish to join in, and the animation team were friendly. The food was good and plentiful, a nice selection of salads and hot food, desserts and fruit. This is a full board plus hotel, so not completely all inclusive, food only available during the dining hours, also beer and wine at lunch and dinner. 2 bars open for drinks to be purchased but were quite pricey, especially for a non-alcoholic fruit cocktail which was about £6! The kids club was up to the age of 11, juniors were 12 and above. The animation team were friendly and had craft activities and put on a show one evening after the mini disco. Overall, it was a nice hotel, which was close to the beach for water activities and boat trips. Bowling available at the other Bluesun Hotel. If LED lights bother you at night, then take some black electrical tape as it was like Blackpool illuminations with 7 tiny lights dotted around the room, which you could also see reflected in the mirror making 14!! Never has the sticky luggage tag come in so handy! It is not a hotel for those that like to stay up late."

As was the case with almost every place we stayed during our 3-week European holiday, there are no room-darkening blinds so recommend an eye mask if you're sensitive to early morning light. Breakfast was good and enjoyed from the back patio with those gorgeous views. We had a car and the property has a lot just a 5-10 minute walk up the hill. They have a driver with a "tuk tuk" who'll get you and your luggage back and forth. Property is right on the "Riva" along the water where you can walk all the way to Zlatny Rat beach if you want. Hotel is located a short walk from center of Pucisca, Island Brac.The location is a quiet with a excellent views of the Mainland and of the Bay.
