- "This is the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in. When we arrived all locked up,eventually got hold of owner who came ,took our money and told us what room . No towels in bathroom, old and dated. Went for a meal in centre and told hotel closed in December, of which I’m not surprised. There was no services on site would rather it was cancelled prior to arrival and we would have got alternative accommodation " - "The hotel looked awful, neglected building. Weeds. No door to open. No bell to ring. Deserted. Car parking on rough ground. Member of staff eventually arrived and booked us in Reception area very untidy, dirty. Empty restaurant - closed. We only stayed because we needed bed for night. Room was not too bad and bath was clean."
