We have two hotel rooms at the Waverley Hotel. We are known for our food, music and atmosphere. We are on main street close to mountain biking, skiing, hiking, boating, golfing, fishing and the nightlife. Our rooms suit music lovers, couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The rooms are affected by bands, electronic dance shows, music & PUB noise. Bands stay upstairs in band rooms which also can cause disturbances. No children. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS.
The space
Our hotel is 125 years old. The rooms are compact with queen size beds. No room for cot or crib. NO CHILDREN. There is no TV upstairs. If we have an event planned, the rooms will be affected until the show is over. In addition, out of town bands stay in the unrenovated band rooms so additional noise is to be expected. Breakfast can be had down the street at the chocolate shop, Laneways or the Cumberland bakery. We have WIFI. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Please do not book for 3 days and then submit alteration request to 2 days. We will not accept alteration request, this is a cancellation.

This bright studio suite boasts a private bathroom and one queen sized bed. There isn't a full sized kitchen, but it has everything you need to make simple meals (small fridge, kitchen sink, hot plate, toaster oven, microwave, a kettle and coffee maker.).
The suite has high ceilings making it feel extra spacious, a TV with basic cable, a Roku, Netflix account, and Internet. This suite is perfectly situated in Cumberland one block from the Village core and a few blocks to the trails.

Please note that this suite shares an entry-way with our storage room that the owners and cleaners may access during the hours of 11am-3pm. The suite itself has it's own door and is self-enclosed. Laundry machines available upon request.
Outside there is a large yard that available to all guests with a seasonal BBQ and table and chairs. Secure bike storage and bike wash. The location is perfectly situated to enjoy some of Cumberland’s favourite pastimes, like enjoying the incredible trail network, browsing local shops, eating pizza and tacos, or drinking copious amounts of coffee and microbrews. There are other units available at this location which makes it a fantastic option if you are traveling with a group.

Equipped with a small fridge, microwave, toaster, dishes and a coffee maker you are able to heat up or make a basic meal. Please note that there is no kitchen sink in this suite. Sit out on the patio and enjoy some fresh air and our beautiful gardens, or fire up the BBQ for a quick meal. Secure storage is available for your bikes and skis.

This charming suite has been fully updated and makes a great places to stay while visiting the area. Patio doors open up to the back yard where you will find well-maintained gardens, outdoor seating, a bike wash, and a very secure storage locker for your bikes and ski equipment.
Space-wise it is more suited to two guests, but it can accommodate up to four as it has a queen and a double bed. The bathroom has a deep bathtub with a shower, toilet and small sink and vanity. There is a small table to sit or use as a desk, as well as a cabinet with various kitchen items. Please note, there is not a kitchen sink, but you are able to use the sink in the bathroom and we have provided some bins to wash dishes when needed. A smart TV is in the suite, where you can log into your favourite Apps or use our subscription to watch Netflix. A playpen and highchair can be provided by request.
Check yourself in and out with our automated key-pads and explore the area without worrying where you put the key. There is plenty of free street parking in front of the Guesthouse and a EV charger is located one block away.
