- " All fine " - "Overall I really liked this hotel. It had a modern feel to it, a bar in the lobby, and was pretty easy to get to. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, although the beds could have been a little softer. The shower design in our room was quite poor - it was impossible to keep the water contained in the shower. It is open for half of one side, which would have been fine if the water didn’t leak through the corner between two panes of glass. There wasn’t another way of adjusting the shower head without spraying water outside the shower. This isn’t a big deal for someone staying there for a night, but it makes me wonder about the long term condition of the bathrooms. Other than that it was a great stay! We didn’t have breakfast here so unfortunately I can’t comment on that. "

- "This hotel is in a small, quiet village well off the beaten path, which is just what we wanted. But we arrived after dark and there was nobody at the reception desk. We tried to call the number, but our cell phones did not work properly. Outside the door, some people were smoking and somehow understood we could not check in. They were so friendly and helpful! They explained that there is a restaurant behind the hotel, and they would go find somebody. A young lady came and checked us in. Then we ran into Bruno, the proprietor. He showed us to our room and explained to us about using the blind to keep out the friendly local cat, while letting in the cooler air with the window. In a small village every place closes early, so we were concerned where we might get dinner. Bruno had the answer! He also owned the restaurant behind the hotel. He took us over there and cooked up some of the very best bratwurst, which was made by his son. This place has been in the family for five generations and they take great pride in it. The patrons of the restaurant were friendly as well. The room was modern and very clean. We wandered around the streets a bit by the church and a fountain. We could hear cows in the distance. Very pleasant experience!"
