My family has frequented this hotel for decades and while visiting from the US, I picked this for a quick getaway with my husband. We enjoyed fantastic wellness facilities, including a sauna, followed by a dip in the pool, relaxing by the lake and a swim in the lake. Imagine a pristine lake, surrounded by the Alps and random sailboats in the water as your view. What more do you need? Let me add, it was peaceful. All I heard were waves outside my balcony. - "Friendly " - "Traditional Bavarian hotel. No frills. Basic amenities, decent beds. They have a restaurant downstairs but we didn't use it. I didn't realize that breakfast wasn't included (there was a sign in German in the room that I guess I should have translated), so the piece of bread I grabbed on my way to a meeting ended up costing me €7.50, which was annoying. Also, my shower flooded after 2 minutes of running the water. My colleague had a larger room on the 2nd floor and it was nice but also basic. Cute snoozy town. The lake is beautiful. "
