- "The Richmond always meets expectations and the Aomori branch does not disappoint. The hotel is located within a mile from the Aomori train station, making it a nice walk or a very cheap taxi ride if you have luggage. The shopping arcade is within this walking distance, so there is no shortage of things to see and shop for after you check in. The room was clean and spacious(especially the bathroom), easily fitting two with 2 big suitcases. The Richmond is famous in our minds for the reasonably priced breakfast buffet which we took advantage of every day of our stay. We actually missed our first day due to a flight change, and although we missed out on a last minute refund, the front desk had chocolate and cookie omiyage as consolation for both me and my wife. The Richmond will always be one of the top places for us to stay anywhere in Japan."
