- "Stopped overnight here before catching the ferry to Norway (it looked that that's what most people were doing) but actually had a really good stay. Spacious room, comfortable bed and a good night's sleep. Plus it was a very good price especially considering the excellent breakfast that was included. Staff were all friendly. We also ate in the restaurant in the evening and were very impressed by the food, so I'd recommend trying it if you're staying there. The ferry port is literally a 5 minute drive/ride from the hotel, so very convenient. Parking outside the hotel was easy and seemed safe, and I think there is an overflow car park as well. I would certainly stay here again if I'm taking the ferry in future."

Also the bed and the covers/pillows were outstanding. I slept like a rock. The room was a tad too bare in some respects, e.g. no holder for soap and shampoo in the shower, but plenty of outlets, lights and accompanying switches and a nice large screen tv.
