- "Didn’t realise that the hotel didn’t have a night porter , so couldn’t check in. Ideally located for business trip to local pharmacy company, but hopeless if you can’t gain access. I would have thought it may have been courteous if the hotel would have prompted me as we’ve become so reliant on assumptions that text has been read, that o ended up sleeping outside in the car overnight when the temperature was minus 3."

- "We reserved 6 rooms for a graduation in Höxter. This hotel is about 15 minutes away!!! First morning we try to bath, NO WARM WATER until 11 am!!!! The graduation was at 1, so we had to really run. The breakfast was very very poor in many senses, a big disappointment for a German hotel. One of the rooms had its window not working and our guests were freezing all night. There is a Church that sounds its Glocks every 30 minutes which for some rooms was very loud. Would never return"
