Because of the changed conditions following the war, the hotel only serves its amazing breakfast on weekends. Instead, ir provides you with a cocker for the Asimi Restaurant overlooking the beach. The 3 minute walk and the breakfast did not disappoint!! The value of the hotel is found in the kindness of the staff, the proximity to the beach and the cleanliness of the rooms. It is a charming, authentic, smaller hotel in the historic area short blocks from the beach in Yafo (Jaffa); one enters the hotel through a courtyard from the street. My room was spacious, adequately furnished, also impeccably clean with room temperature adjustable to my liking; it included a most comfortable bed with high quality linens, fresh towels & amenities daily. Then the icing to complete this perfect cake of location, staff, & room was the 24/7 available snacks/desserts/drinks in the cafe to enjoy there, in the courtyard, or in one's room. It was a lovely quiet oasis after a day of touring or beaching...relaxed, personable but private, & welcoming! I couldn't have found a more perfect place had I searched to the ends of the earth! I based my hotel choice on recommendations I had read, but honestly, my stay at the Margosa Hotel exceeded any I read before my arrival. I highly recommend this hotel, & I shall try to return to Tel Aviv-Yafo just to stay there again!"
