- "It was a good hotel but I marked it down as the picture shows a riverside setting and a quaint building backing on to the river It is not, it is a standard Inner town hotel on the Main Street, it is a walk away from the river, which took me sometime to find. I was very disappointed The captions on the photos need correcting " - "The hotel was just what we wanted, a hotel in a very small and cute town. Hotel is not luxurious, but it's very serviceable/comfortable. The picture of the water is misleading, as there is no river near the town."

It really didn't look like the picture but that doesn't matter. A functional and very warm room on a very cold day. The rooms are on the smaller side, but once again for this kind of stay and hotel not important. The breakfast was a typical French buffet with bread, croissants, coffee and cheese - all very nice."

- "Very warm welcome and her English was great which was helpful. I arrived very late & soaked through having just fixed a puncture on my motorbike so it was a relief. I missed the dinner service but she managed to get some food together for me which was more than welcome Local shops are very strange, hardly ever open and the “super” market doesn’t sell any type of bread. There was a choice of 8 shops/restraunts but none are interested in being open most of the time. But all small things & there is plenty of charm and quiet in the local area"
