The air conditioner in the rooms are adjusted, which means, I believe, are controlled. You can't adjust the temperature and it's always hot. We had 4 rooms, and all 4 rooms had the same issue. When I made the reservations I choose to pay at the property, when I reserved the price was fixed, but when I check out the price changed. I end up paying $300 more. I asked for a better view, but never was given to me. Such a HUGE place and they gave me the WROST view, I can't believe the whole place was sold out. They didn't reach out to me. Great staff thou, the girls at the front desk are sweet. Overall good, but I would rather had an ocean view room. So much money to look at the parking lot...Never believe the pictures on the website, when they say "Garden View", it means: The Parking Lot and Pedestrian Site. "

Although it is on a fairly busy road running up the hill, it is super-quiet and peaceful. It is clean and well-maintained, staff are polite and genuinely helpful, beds are very comfortable. With few eating options nearby, the restaurant here takes on more importance. Breakfast is very good, although if you want real coffee instead of machine-instant you have to ask for it. The restaurant also serves dinner, which is a bit pricey but generally excellent; if you reserve a table, it seems to be yours for the night (warning: several nearby restaurants are closed on Mondays, even in high tourist season). Overall, the hotel seems to be committed to service; our host, Mr. Peteani, tracked down a pair of earrings my wife left behind, and mailed them to her, a kindness we will remember for a long time. Personally, I will seek out a reason to return to Labin just so I can stay in this outstanding hotel."
