- "First of all. The room was very spacious and thoughtfully allocated although I would suggest upgrading the television to a smart tv for an executive room such as this. That was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in a long time for my back and neck issues. I was however very disappointed with the roof top. Namely because there’s a lot of open unused space that could be utilized as green space with plants and small trees to really liven up the vibe. The pool is outdated. I feel like they are missing an opportunity for a shared recreation area up there. It’s also kind of annoying to not be able to take the elevator all the way there. The view from the roof is beautiful at night though.. granted I found it strange that they offer for sale lovely hotel branded ashtrays yet none of them are at the tables and chairs on the roof to add an element of synergistic class. The surrounded neighborhood has several run down buildings listed for sale. It’s curious to me that whoever owns the hotel hasn’t purchased and facelifted them. "

- "It was ok." - "One of the room shower water pressure was very low very difficult to take shower. Receptionist on the check out day was very unfriendly and unprofessional and his name I forgot but he has a lady name that I remember…. I was stuck on the way back to hotel and I called to request to later check out and he threaten to charge if we’re late for 1 minute after 12:00noon. After explaining I was driving back to hotel but that day Melaka town traffic was very heavy jammed and I was stuck…he finally allowed 12:30pm I call him again to tell him my situation as car not moving much in the traffic… again he threaten to charge from minute 1 ….. his attitude is not suitable to be at front office … I just ask him I’m almost there and please extra few minutes. He said no. I rushed driving like crazy and thank GOD no incident happened to me my car … I arrived at 12:30pm sharp finally …. I park my car right in front the hotel door to rush up to check out … escalators not working…. This receptionist attitude is not fit to work at hotel front desk … very disappointed and unpleasant experience and this is my first time stay with this kind of hotel. Even a 5 stars hotel don’t do that as I’ve stayed many hotels all over the world. "

The overall cleanliness scored high. Much can be improve if you allow free car parking for confirmed booking. Carpark is RM5. I arrive at 11:50am, receptionist checked my booking as confirmed and is fully paid still refused to let me check in till after 2pm. Free Carpark not allowed unless I have checked in after 2 pm. Later at 1:30pm still can not check in. If the Hotel is full, I could understand but the car park was only about 5% filled, no tour bus around the whole duration of our stay. I waited for 2 hours at the lobby do see very few people checking in or out or leaving the hotel. Even at night, still less than 5% cars parked and no tour bus. Next morning at 7am ~9:30am, while reading the Newspaper at the lobby, I still see no Hotel customers. I would have changed to another hotel that had vacancy to check in at 12pm if the payment to Mimosa was not done. Check out is 12pm to mean that we can only stay for 22 hours with the strict 2pm check in even if the hotel is empty."
