The view is really beautiful - its a stop on many of the tours for people to visit. The rooms however, were quite disappointing. The rooms on the west side (not facing the water), pick up so much heat from the afternoon sun that the walls feel like a heater and the AC cannot keep up. The doors are also not sealed completely, so we had two frogs and a scorpion in our room over the course of three days. Staff were nice, but not the most helpful. As many others have indicated, access to town from the pousada is up a steep and rough path. This is fine, but the staff were not able to connect us with a taxi to get to and from other places. The local taxi service is run through an app and you cannot download it without a Brazillian account/CPF. The restaurant is also closed and the snack bar at the lookout closes promptly at sunset. So there is no access to water as well. Many unnecessary inconveniences here. I would not return. "
