They offer a transport from airport to hotel which worked perfectly at the departure. On arrival, the situation was different: as I stepped outside the empty airport, there was no-one there. I was forced to take an overpriced taxi to hotel. As I came to hotel I had to argue with the taxi driver and hotel staff. They kept saying I had to pay the driver and their driver was at the airport. Well, I was at the airport in the middle of the desert and no driver there. Customer is at least sometimes right?"

- "After I made the booking via Expedia, I got a welcome email from the hotel in French but the dates of my stay they mentioned where wrong (July 2019). I contacted them to rectify the dates and number of but they did not answer. I asked a colleague from the conference to check with the hotel and after I sent 2 email, the replied. Secondly, I asked for a low pilow and an electric but I never go them. I aked one of the receptionists to give me a ride to the airport like other guests but she refused telling me that they do not have trips to the airport although there was plent of time in-between the trips they were having. Thridly, the restaurant staff were very good. They offered me free Mauritanian tea. But when I ordered lunch upon my arrival they were very slow. They took a lot of time to prepare and bring me the food. Despite that, the food was delicious."

The hotel staff was very helpful prior to and after arrival to arrange airport transportation and to help us navigate to required COVID tests for departure (PCR free of charge by government and provided results the same afternoon). - "The stuff are so nice. Specially, Omar." - "I booked this hotel primarily for the pool, which from the algea growth hasn't functioned in weeks if not months. There is no spa as advertised. My rooms had a collection of interesting bugs in it, which was a delight. After breakfast the hotel last power, so no AC to running water no flushing toilets etc. I waited patiently for 8 hours for things to be fixed. I then had to leave due to sanitary concerns. I asked to be refunded one night and the hotel refused. The location is also very inconvenient."
