They offer a transport from airport to hotel which worked perfectly at the departure. On arrival, the situation was different: as I stepped outside the empty airport, there was no-one there. I was forced to take an overpriced taxi to hotel. As I came to hotel I had to argue with the taxi driver and hotel staff. They kept saying I had to pay the driver and their driver was at the airport. Well, I was at the airport in the middle of the desert and no driver there. Customer is at least sometimes right?"

- "After I made the booking via Expedia, I got a welcome email from the hotel in French but the dates of my stay they mentioned where wrong (July 2019). I contacted them to rectify the dates and number of but they did not answer. I asked a colleague from the conference to check with the hotel and after I sent 2 email, the replied. Secondly, I asked for a low pilow and an electric but I never go them. I aked one of the receptionists to give me a ride to the airport like other guests but she refused telling me that they do not have trips to the airport although there was plent of time in-between the trips they were having. Thridly, the restaurant staff were very good. They offered me free Mauritanian tea. But when I ordered lunch upon my arrival they were very slow. They took a lot of time to prepare and bring me the food. Despite that, the food was delicious."

The hotel staff was very helpful prior to and after arrival to arrange airport transportation and to help us navigate to required COVID tests for departure (PCR free of charge by government and provided results the same afternoon). My rooms had a collection of interesting bugs in it, which was a delight. After breakfast the hotel last power, so no AC to running water no flushing toilets etc. I waited patiently for 8 hours for things to be fixed. I then had to leave due to sanitary concerns. I asked to be refunded one night and the hotel refused. The location is also very inconvenient."

- "Amazing location, very clean , Friendly staff , delicious food It’s just perfect " - "This is a decent, if somewhat isolated option, but within walking distance of the market (if you can tolerate the heat). The rooms are slightly shabby but not terrible, though I did encounter a few mosquito bites despite it being an AC room (I killed the mosquito the next morning). This is because there is a slight gap in the window, which they should seal as this is a malaria zone. The bathroom was OK, but dated. I did like that they had a kettle in the room, so I could prepare coffee. Internet was reasonably fast. The huge downside was that there is no lift here - you must walk 4 long flights of narrow stairs to get to the room, which was difficult with baggage. Breakfast was pretty good - pastry, omelette, yogurt, juice and coffee. Overall I’d probably stay again, but I would not get a top floor room. "

Note that you cannot adjust the air conditioning and it’s just throughout the entire building, but I was never too warm. Unlike the outside air, the room was very damp due to the AC, so my clothes would not dry. They will let you hang clothes on the rooftop (worth visiting for the view alone) if you ask. Breakfast was good, but no protein - only baguette, pastries, yogurt, coffee, and juice. Coffee is made to order. Wifi was excellent. Overall a great place to stay, and I would definitely stay here again."
