We were upgraded to a larger room with a balcony overlooking the lake which was just so calming to sit out on and relax (even if it was raining as the balcony was sheltered). The room was a little old fashioned, we had booked a more modern room but the upgraded room whilst larger was the old style. However, this was made up for by the views. Staff were very friendly and sorted us out with free bus passes. We ate at the Italian nearby which I would recommend. We then took the bus on to Interlaken which is another scenic journey (sit on right on bus!)"
