- "An overnight stop in Modane on a motorcycle tour. The hotel is one of a number of hotels spaced along the same street. Room was nice but, overlooking road at front of property, there was understandably some traffic noise with the window open. Bed a little soft for my taste. Shower and WC in room, not separated by screen or cubicle which is fine for a single occupancy but may be an issue for 2... The owner is a nice man; really helpful, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast served in the attached restaurant was fresh, delicious and plentiful. Note that Hotesl.com specifies "Free Parking" but this isn't the case; all the parking bays outside the hotel have meters."
