It was absolutely amazing having the view of the ocean from the room, verandah and the private pool. Breakfast option was adequate and even on arrival they were generous to provide us complimentary breakfast as we arrived a little earlier than check-in. The restaurant was also great - we had the seafood buffet along with live entertainment. The beach was beautiful but a little rocky and shallow to go snorkelling. - "Our two week stay at the Black Pearl was so lovely. Paul is an excellent host who takes great care of his property and has great local knowledge. Our room was large and comfortable. The saltwater pool is convenient for days when you don't feel like getting sandy at the beach. There is a dairy/ fuel station/ ice cream shop right next door and Aro's Shipwreck Bar/ Restaurant within walking distance. The library of books, snorkel gear and reef shoes we borrowed during our stay really added to our experience!"

- "Beautiful location" - "The staff at Moana Sands were absolutely amazing, particularly the ladies on the front desk. There was one who was especially wonderful and gave my friend and I lots of ideas and information about places to visit and what to do (she was the one who told us about the fantastic lemon cheesecake at the Maire Nui gardens!). The property was spotless, beautifully quiet, had gorgeous views and extremely spacious rooms. The only draw-back was there weren't dinner options from the restaurant every night during the low season, but the meals we did have there were delicious."

Good facilities eg paddle boards, kayaks etc. Blinds dont block sun, just there for privacy, good breakfast, Id stay here again for the location. - "Ikurangi Is such a great way to not only stay on Raro, but fully experience the local culture of the island. The resort is in a peaceful neighborhood but still close enough to hear the ocean. The pool is at the right temperature and each day we were treated to a different breakfast with locally sourced food and the portions were plenty large. Our accommodation were clean and comfortable and you never felt any of the world around you. This is a great way to experience Rarotonga. "

Very basic amenities but everything you possibly could need - who stays in their room all day when you are in paradise? This place felt safe and the staff were very accommodating when I asked for extra towels and accommodation for one extra night. Very close to the road you could barely hear the cars [not much traffic in Raro to be honest] and other guests were very respectful and quiet. I would recommend this place because I felt welcome and safe."
