We parked in the car park upstairs , outside for free ( there is underground parking on site too ) The room was nice , overlooking the river .. from the hotel it’s walkable to the Cathedral quarter ( 10/12mins stroll ) and there’s a wealth of restaurant choices and bars there . From the point of enquiry, I received prompt, friendly replies to our queries, specifically surrounding the secure parking needed for our campervan. Finding hotel city accommodation with parking for a larger vehicle is always difficult but we were most thankful for the huge, secure garage facility available here for only 8E per night! Our room was in what seemed to be the newer block, over the road from the main reception area and pool. It was on the ground floor, with security shutters, a safe, air-con. and a large bathroom with double shower. We were pleasantly surprised to have tea and coffee in the room and it was super clean! The lady on reception spoke good English and helped us to navigate the best route into the city centre, (20 min. walk) and onto the Notre Dame Cathedral, (a further 10 minutes). Fabulous!!"

- "We spent two nights in Rheims to visit the cathedral and nearby sites. We arrived on a Sunday, and discovered that a parking lot nearby is not open on Sundays, but we were able to find convenient parking on the street. The Christmas market had filled nearby pedestrian streets with booths that we explored. Restaurants nearby offered a wide range of food. We toured the Taittinger champagne company in town (multiple tours daily) which took us into underground vaults that date to Roman times and ended, of course, with a tasting of excellent champagne. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and we enjoyed visiting sites associated with a medieval theologian, William of St. Thierry. Our group included four adults and two small children, and the hotel provided an infant bed and a high chair at breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
