The location was perfect - Algajola is more quiet than the other towns on the coast - it is between Calvi an L’ile Rousse which are lovely places to visit but are more commercial and busy and we loved going back to Algajola where there were plenty of great restaurants to chose from The train takes you along the coast and is quite cheap but it is busy and on a hot day it’s much nicer to jump in a taxi with air con for a bit more money. We went on a boat trip with Corsica and Boat - the hotel helped us book it and we met them in the next bay just 5 minutes away. Transfers from the airport can be expensive, we booked a car for £108, even if you only use the car for transfers you are saving a lot of money in taxis of hours on the train. We stayed in the annex of the hotel just a short walk down the road which didn’t bother us at all but one thing that didn’t impact us but might some people is that there is no WiFi there - only at the main hotel if you have teenagers it might be worth paying extra and staying in the main hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and myself would love to visit Corsica again."
