My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and quite helpful. The hotel is part of a very large restaurant with good food and good service. It is in the main shopping and dining area, and within a short walk to the Chateau, which is the major attraction of Saumur. I would like to stay there again."
