It is located barely 5 minutes (walking) from the station, so even with luggage, it is no problem getting there easily. You just need to make sure that you go to Shimonoseki station, though, not Shin-Shimonoseki (the shinkansen stop), otherwise, you will need to take a bus or walk a long longer. The bus terminal is in front of the station. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and with a choice of soft or hard pillow, and the fridge big enough to store a few things. There is a laundry room on the 2nd floor. I was able to check in about 20 minutes early. Overall, great hotel."
