I have never seen that before and it was really unique. The grill could have been cleaned for sure, but we were there at a busy time of year so it is understandable. The staff were all so kind and personable. I really appreciated the fact that the front desk assistants allowed us to remain parked in the underground parking for a few hours after our checkout so that we could walk the main street again. They were so kind and we appreciated the extra time in the town without the hassle of finding other parking. We will be back next year to visit this amazing hotel! I would recommend it to anyone staying in Banff, especially over the holidays as it was so wonderfully Christmassy. "

- "I recently came back from a trip to Banff where we stayed at the banff ptarmigan inn. I read mixed reviews of the place but I decided to try it out. I’m so glad I did! The housekeepers kept everything so nice in our rooms. The complimentary breakfast was so delicious! My boyfriend and I were amazed that it was free! They have shuttles to the different mountains if you didn’t have a car to drive and we were within walking distance of everything downtown. We did rent a car and the hotel provided a parking garage (parkade) with no extra charge. It was so nice when going to the car and you didn’t have to warm it up or take snow off of it! We could just get in and go! Would definitely recommend and definitely stay again!"
