It's a nice boutique hotel very close to the train station and central square as well as the university. The station (trains and buses) is a 10 minute walk away. The hotel staff are so nice and helpful. I want to compliment Tilda, the rest of the front desk staff, Maria and the other breakfast/dinner staff, Silva, one of the housekeeper's and the rest of the housekeeping staff. Our room again faced the train station but we didn't hear the trains as much this time. the hotel provides breakfast and dinner. Both were very good and very fresh. Although fried foods are a large part of Swedish dinner, we always found enough on the dinner menu. Each night there is one main entree but always several different salads, soup, and delicious bread. the hotel has 2 buildings. Our preference is to stay in the main building. We've now stayed a total of 16 days and we've enjoyed both of our stays. We would stay again at Majoren without hesitation. "

There was no climate control in the room so I had to have the window open, and was quiet noisy with people under the window. The good stuff…The front desk staff was friendly. The rooms were nicely done up and my second room seemed really clean and fresh, newly renovated. The beds and pillows were surprisingly very comfortable. And the town quieted down to have the window open after 22:00. Strangely enough, this alone if I had to stay in Falköping again I would want to pick this place again. So many hotels skimp on comfort and I actually had a good sleep there. Besides cleanliness being top priority, comfort is a huge part. I truly hope they get a good manger that is customer service minded. I think this hotel potentially be a nice place to stay. "
