The lobby was restored to its original condition with skylights and crown molding. The hotel is in Carrasco which is the best neighborhood in Montevideo. You can walk out the door and be on the Rambla or turn up the street for restaurants and shopping. The hotel has a spa, workout room, small indoor/outdoor pools, and a dry sauna. There is a lounge and restaurant. Our room was a corner suite with views of the water. It was large and very comfortable. We got a good deal with Expedia, about $70 less than the Accor rate.
