The border with Switzerland is just 10 min walk, to the Geneva centre - 1h walk, however there is also a bus."

The car journey to Geneva center takes at least 35/40 minutes and if the traffic is heavy it takes 70+ minutes. There are traffic lights everywhere and they stay red for ages. Good value continental breakfast, don't expect a fry up and sadly no hot drinks available in the room like they have in the UK. Vending machine in lobby/reception is very expensive and temperamental with the coins."
