They should have been replaced years ago. The key cards did not work with the lifts so caused lots of downtime till the hotel decided to disable them. "

- "Really enjoyed my stay- the staff made me feel so special- especially on my birthday! They were so nice and always smiling, it made me feel right at home. I had a great time!" - "Absolutely great place to stay in Padang! We were only there for a night as we had a day between flights but it was perfect for us! Easy to get to from the airport via the Damri bus (get off at Plaza Andalas) which is by far the cheapest option to travel the 45 minutes. The check in was fast and the room was clean and comfortable with AC. Breakfast was an amazing buffet with plenty of food to choose from and the staff offer you eggs cooked however you want them as well. There are a fair few options around for food that we saw on our evening walk and the beach is nearby though we didn’t manage to go. The Damri bus back to the airport left from the main stop at the bottom of a huge park just 15 minutes walk away so getting there was also very easy and cost effective. Definitely stay here if you can!"

I complained to reception and the Manager in charge was quick to intervene. I ended up having a Spaghetti Bolognaise with complementary fruit dessert. 3- At 7pm, there was noise coming from the room above. Somebody moving furniture and hammering. I complained, and the noise did diminish but did not disappear. By 10pm, the noise was still there and i couldn't sleep. There were maintenance workers doing something on the 3rd floor. AT 10 PM!!!! I complained again and the noise stopped. 4- Room was not very well cleaned. I even found an empty cigarette box on one of the shelves. Towels were stained as well. This property does not accept credit cards, only cash."

All buildings have a terrace in front of the rooms with an ocean view, perfect for relaxing.

Boat transfer to the resort from the Siberut harbor: 1.8 million IDR per boat (5 persons max), can be shared.

Getting here: Fly to Padang (PDG), then take the Mentawai Fast ferry to Siberut on Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday morning (6-7 am). The ferry returns in the afternoon (12-3 pm).
