- "If only I could give 10 stars!! Absolutely incredible people who went above and beyond to take care of my elderly father when he had a long layover in Istanbul. The airport employees mistakenly were not letting him out of the transit zone for almost 4 hours. It didn't help that my Dad got locked out of his phone so we could not reach him. Musa, who came to pick him up to transfer to the hotel, was there waiting and looking for him all those 4 hours! Eventually, together with the hotel's owners, they were able to locate my Dad and got him "released". Everyone was so warm, patient and friendly throughout the whole experience. - "Note this is not a hotel. It's a house with rooms being rented out. The bathrooms and kitchen are shared areas. The hang out space are couches out in the yard. We were woken up about 1am by the sound of guests in other rooms getting ready and leaving for the airport. The place is very basic. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. - "Staying at Ideal Butik Otel was a nice experience. It was a great price for our family of five and the room had plenty of space for all of us! There is a beautiful view of the Black Sea from the room, whether you are inside or out on the patio. We stayed there to be close to the airport for an early morning departure. The staff were easy to work with and made sure our needs were met. We only stayed for about 10 hours total; enough time to play on the beach, shower, get a comfortable night's sleep, but catch our 4 am taxi ride for our flight. I couldn't figure out the shower at first, but the staff helped me out. They provided shampoo and body soap. We had plenty of towels and paper towels available. I had my children use the paper towels as toilet paper as needed, but instructed them to be thrown anyway to prevent plumbing problems. I am not sure about all the amenities the hotel has to offer, but the manager helped us find a hose to rinse off sand after playing on the beach. Right next door is a small convenient store where we bought simple snacks that made for a tasty, cheap, and easy dinner with kids!"
