NATURAL SETTING: This hidden oasis is surrounded by beautiful natural habitat so it is common to see birds, geckos, lizards, frogs, plants, bees, rain, sunshine, etc. If a natural setting is not really your thing then this place may not be the best fit for you. On the other hand, if you enjoy nature you will absolutely love this place!

PROPERTY LAYOUT AND PRIVACY: The property has three guest rooms located in a building separate from the main house. You are renting one of the three guests rooms. There is no shared indoor space between the rooms.

THE ROOM: Your room has a private entrance and private bathroom, with its own courtyard. Room includes a mini-fridge and Smart TV with chromecast (no cable TV). We are on property so can easily assist with any additional requests such as pool towels; etc.

SHARED AMENITIES: You will have access to a lake, saltwater pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, tree swing, a relaxing hammock room. Feel free to enjoy the day with our complimentary paddle boards and canoe.

SHARED KITCHEN: You will have access to a shared kitchen fully equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, and utensils.

SECURITY: We have never encountered any security problems though we ensure our guests safety with our surveillance located in the parking lot and lake zone. The property is fenced in and requires a code to enter the gated entrance. Each room has an electronic lock with a unique passcode to you.

HAPPY STAY: While most guests truly enjoy this hidden oasis we have come to understand that it may not be the right fit for everyone. We believe setting expectations is key to having a happy stay. We take care of the 2 acre property ourselves and while it has many beautiful features it is by no means a 5-star resort so if perfection is expected then perhaps a hotel or resort may be a better fit for you. That said, we are continually working hard to improve the experience for all our guests and If you have any concerns during your stay please let us know right away to make it right.

GUEST ACCESS
Guests will be given a private code so they can access the gate of the property.
You will have complete access to our lush tropical property - with blooming orchids if we are lucky. Lounge chairs by the pool are available for reading during the day or just relaxing in the evening which is perfect for getting into a tropical Florida vibe. There is a bar and a lounge area available to bring your own drinks.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
This suite is completely separated from the main house, be at ease that you will have your own privacy.
Wish we had, but there is no laundry in the unit.

HOUSE RULES:
- Only VRBO registered guests are allowed inside the property. Non-VRBO guests are NOT allowed to be premises or use any of any of the amenities.
- Only 2 cars are allowed to park in the property per booked room.
- Lake area and Hot-tub can only be accessed from 10AM to 10PM.
- Pool and Bar can be used between the hours of 10am and 10PM.
- Absolutely NO GLASS is allowed by the pool (use plastic cups and cans)
- DO NOT discard anything other than toilet paper in the toilet. Anything else will clog the septic system and cause plumbing issues during your stay.
- Do not operate the canoe or paddle boards under the influence of alcohol or afterdark. Always use a life vest when using the canoe.
- Take care of the place as if it were your own home, please pick up any trash, including cigarette butts.
- Please keep noise to a minimum after 10PM, quiet time starts at 10PM.

This beautiful property is located in an up and coming transitional area of Orlando which is quickly being developed. In the surrounding area we have both million dollar properties as well as middle class families. The city has recently inaugurated a new soccer stadium and the UCF creative village just 6 minutes away. It is located just 3 blocks from Orlando Camping World Stadium and just 8 minutes away from downtown Orlando.

The area is pleasantly quiet, with the occasional sound of children playing outside in the late afternoon or the distant melodies of music from our friendly neighbors. As our condo is not located on a main street, you'll be spared from the noise of busy traffic. Rest easy knowing that the community is under 24/7 video surveillance, and security patrols the neighborhood from 3 PM to 7 AM. During normal business hours, the association monitors the video and ensures maintenance to the community.

Other Things to Note:
Parking is free but you MUST provide your license plate number so I can register you as a visitor to avoid the possibility of your vehicle getting towed. A visitor parking pass is required, only one is provided. The replacement cost for the parking pass is $75. There are no assigned parking spots, so you can park conveniently in front of the condo or in the guest parking area. To make your stay even more enjoyable, we provide complimentary coffee, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent in the unit.

Guest Bath 🛁 : Located off the main dining area between bedroom 2 and the quad city suite is the guest bath, equipped with shower and tub combo. All bathrooms come fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

My home was built in 58' the first thing you will notice walking through the front door besides the big modern kitchen and terrazzo floors, will be the view onto the canal that leads to Clear Lake. My home is a good representation of who I am. Should be because I painted it! Everything in it has its own story of where I've been and what I've been doing for the past 25 years. The decor reflects a chill beach vibe with family vintage pieces throughout. Like the traveller everyone has a story.

The space
My place is a canal front home on Clear lake. There are fantastic sunset and sunrise views of downtown with Camping World Stadium on the other-side of the lake. The First Baptist Church os within walking distance that host major events all year long. The Orlando International airport, Executive Airport and Disney are 25 minutes from my location. I am central to everything 10 minutes to Universal, Dowtown, Orlando Regional Medical center and shopping from farmers markets to luxury boutiques.

Guests have full use of the kitchen, common areas and laundry. I have maintained high standards of cleaning between guests stays. You are my guest and I would love for you to feel at home. If you forget any of your essentials for travel including cleaning and sanitizing supplies. Don’t stress, I keep a nicely stocked hall closet for your convenience so that you don’t miss a beat!

I love entertaining and that’s why I offer breakfast in the morning. If you are more of the introvert or just want to have time to yourself. I will be happy to give you what ever space you need. I feel I’m pretty good at reading people’s needs but I’m not perfect and no offense taken if you feel it necessary to let me know. I do have a retired racing greyhound Meg, she is the ultimate couch potato, super chill, affectionate and quirky.

This neighborhood offers a blend of mid-century architecture and natural beauty, providing a serene retreat within the city. While this is a peaceful and friendly community, it's important to note that the surrounding areas vary in appearance. For a more pleasant arrival experience, we recommend accessing the neighborhood via John Young Parkway, which offers a cleaner and more direct route.​
Please be aware that our property is not located within a gated or fenced community. If you prefer accommodations with controlled access or within gated communities, this property may not meet your expectations.​

Additionally, the mother-in-law suite has its own private entrance from the exterior of the home and does not have direct access from inside the main house. This setup provides extra privacy for guests staying in the suite.

Seasonal Decor: Traveling during the holidays? We’ll have a Christmas tree up for November and December guests.
Hot Tub Policy: For your safety, please use plastic cups (provided) around the hot tub. A $200 cleaning fee applies for any glass breakage that requires draining and professional cleaning.
No Smoking Inside: Smoking indoors will incur a $200 cleaning fee. Outdoor smoking is permitted; please dispose of cigarette butts properly.
Initial Check-In Concerns: If any issues arise, please inform us within the first 4 hours of check-in, and we’ll make it right.
Tropical Environment: Florida’s environment may bring occasional critters. Monthly maintenance helps, but please keep doors/windows closed, seal food, and dispose of trash regularly. Contact us if the issue persists.

*Expectations*

-Parties & Celebrations: We love hosting birthdays, bachelorette weekends, and other special getaways! You're welcome to celebrate at the house with your registered guests, but no outside visitors or large events are allowed. Please keep things respectful and within quiet hours.

- Smoking: No smoking/vaping/marijuana permitted inside the house; a $200 cleaning fee will apply for odor. Smoking outside is welcome but please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.

- Cleanliness: Guests should not leave the house in a state that requires excessive or deep cleaning (ex: soiled rugs, stained/marked walls, moldy dishes, pet stains, trash scattered, etc.). Cleaning fees are meant to cover the cost of standard cleaning between reservations only. *In the unlikely event that you have an issue with the house cleanliness upon check-in, please let us know in the first few hours so we can remedy the situation. We have staff on call for this reason and happy to make it right.

- Trash/Recycle: Guests should put all their trash and recycle in designated outside receptacles

- Critter Awareness: While we maintain regular pest control service, Florida’s tropical waterfront climate means occasional encounters with insects or wildlife. Please keep doors/windows closed and food sealed

- Glass-Free Pool Deck: Broken glass on the pool deck incurs a $400 cleaning fee due to pool draining requirements.

- Age of home: Our home is in excellent condition for being 60+ years old, however, things break with normal wear and tear, please don’t hesitate to let us know and we’ll fix it as soon as we can!

- Damage: All damage should be reported to the Host. Damage that is beyond normal wear and tear may require working with the Host to find a reasonable solution. Guests are expected to pay reasonable requests for reimbursement if they’re responsible for certain damage, missing items, or unexpected cleaning costs like after a party or due to pet accidents.

- Maintenance: Lawn, maintenance, or pool employees may come to the property for regular maintenance to ensure guests have a comfortable stay. In the unlikely event we need access inside during your stay, we will always call or message first.

- Deposit: New guests without reviews may require a refundable deposit at booking, refunded after the home is left in good condition.
