We had the only room with a balcony and 3 windows which was perfect. The cosy room is part of a 4,5 room apartment where my partner and I live.
Your room is furnished with a comfortable 1.40 m size bed, a small table with office chair and a place to hang your clothes.
You have an own toilet, but the shower is shared with us. There is a possibility to wash and dry your clothes and you can use our kitchen if you like.
The apartment is very centrally located but in a very quiet neighborhood. With public transport it takes only 15 minutes to the Zürich main station.

There is a Publibike bike rental station 190 m away from the apartment.

There is a small convienence store within 200 m reach.

Bus 33, 46, 72 and 83 are 400 m away. Starting from 16th July 2022 Tram 13 will not run due to a construction site, lasting until summer 2023. Buses 46 run very frequently though and take you to the mainstation in no time.

With public transport it takes only 15 minutes to the Zürich main station or roughly 30 minutes to the airport.

If you need an earlier check in than 1 pm or late check out, please ask to see if it's possible on that day.

Small sweet room on the ground floor of the romantic old house. The house is located 1 minute from the train station, 9 minutes to the main train station and 15 minutes up to the Uetliberg, the most beautiful viewpoint in Zurich. 5 mins to Tram 14, bus 33 and 80.

The space
Living space

In front of our house is the city at our feet and behind the house there is a meadow, right after the forest. Important: The rooms are very simple and in the anteroom and bathing area it has a concrete floor. You have to love old, simple houses, therefore the reasonable price!!! Next to the room is the bathroom (with bathroom and shower as well as washing machine), which we all use together in the house. Since we live in the upper rooms, you can only see each other on your way to the bathroom or toilet :-) . In the room there is a coffee machine and in the large laundry room there is a kettle, a microwave, a fridge, dishes and cutlery, sugar, salt, spices, vinegar and oil and if something is missing, just ask! In front of the bedroom there is a small table for food see photos. The toilet is one floor higher. The garden can be shared, barbecue facilities and recreation right in the forest next to the house in the meadow. In addition, there is a large trampoline and a red and a black cat.

In particular, the entrance on the ground floor leads through the large laundry room, which is also the bathroom at the same time. Sometimes there is also laundry to dry and the light switch is at the second door. So that there is no increased humidity when hanging laundry or long showers, there is an automatic dehumidifier in the bathroom/laundry room. The anteroom to the room has only a small window that is at the same time the cat scene entrance. Another door leads to the basement there. The kitchen can only be used in exceptional cases and on request. The rest of the house is only used by the family. If you appreciate the simplicity and like uncomplicated people, you are in the right place with us:-) .

We; my husband, me and our child are mostly at home in the evening and in the morning. However, it may happen that we are absent during the school holidays. But everything is well labeled, so that you can find your way around without us. However, we will inform you about absences in advance.
If we are on vacation, I ask you to take the bedding away yourself. New laundry is ready for the new guests, thank you very much!

Other things to note
We want quiet, friendly people who do not smoke and respect the house rules and love to spend a few nights in an unconventional old house. We have no normal WiFi but a cable for internet connection with different adapters. If no one works, a suitable adapter can be purchased at our expense. In addition, it is important to us that you have studied our offer exactly, so that you will certainly get what you imagine.
