Fully furnished and newly renovated! All new appliances, including a 48' HDTV and wireless hi-speed internet. In additional to a bedroom with a king-size bed, there is queen-size pull-out sofa in the living room. We also have a very comfortable roll full away bed. Laundry washer/dryer is in a separate room opposite the patio. Includes beach and picnic gear and the kitchen has everything you need to make great meals. The back patio has an outside table with chairs and a BBQ. All the comforts of home in a great location ensures that you will enjoy your stay! We have the Hyatt hotel and Fess Parker Resort down the street with full bar and restaurant and spa facilities including massage and facials.The bird refuge is minutes away. The wharf has a sea center, fine dining and great strolling and views of the ocean. Sunday local art beach exhibit stretches along the boardwalk. Our East beach studio is sweet and comfortable. It is perfect for 1 or 2 adults. The location is ideal, just 2 minutes walking to the beach. It is a very large and sunny studio and has a separate fully stocked kitchen with dining space, large room with Queen bed, awesome TV, separate vanity area, full bathroom with shower/tub and huge walk in closet. We have an outdoor patio around the back that has a BBQ and table and very nice place to relax and enjoy a meal. Its such a nice studio, its a great retreat after a long day enjoying the city! We have everything you need in the neighborhood, you don't even need a car! We have a local market on the corner, the SB Inn across the street that serves food all day, and bike rentals on the next block. The price is right and the location perfect; come see for yourself! The Santa Barbara Airbus has its SB pick up and drop off a block away at the Hyatt, and it is the perfect way to arrive from LAX- its a 3 minute walk and the Airbus is comfortable and affordable. Its a very safe neighborhood and best place to be in Santa Barbara!

Conveniently situated near Montecito’s Lower Village, this completely updated 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom townhouse overlooks the Andree Clark Bird Refuge. 5 minute Uber or drive to the Funk Zone and downtown Santa Barbara and only a short walk or ride to Butterfly and East Beach. All of Montecito's restaurants, shops and grocery stores up the street! Very quiet location with great views.

- "The property is older and has character. There is noise from above and on the sides when they are occupied, but everyone was respectful and kept the noise to a minimum. This home is the perfect location: 3min walk to the beach, 15min walk to the pier, 5min drive to major shops on State street and a grocery store with a delicious taco truck in the evenings across the street! The home was nicely furnished, clean and everything (dishes, towels, etc) felt new. The owners provided some very nice additions: coffee bar, cocktail cart, individually wrapped toothbrushes. It was easy to check-in and the owners were very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely be renting again!"

Room was clean with plenty of towels and nice bathing amenities. This might be specific to us but given the small quarters there could be a much more efficient use of the space geared toward guests. The queen bed dominates the room. Two futon day beds or a modern bunk bed along the wall would be better, imo. Neither the curved loveseat or built in bench seat served as an extra bed. The loveseat seemed out of place and bulky for its utility and would be more useful to have either built in open shelving and/or a chair. Dispense with the night stands and install wall mounted reading lights. The one small table housing a small basket for coffee and tea could be replaced w/ a small sink, countertop to make a sandwich, cut up fruit or make coffee since it’s close to the fridge Unfortunately there were no filters for the coffee and the coffee maker did not reach the plug sitting on the table-it would either have to sit on the sink or the floor. There is a microwave but again no real space to prepare anything. The nook where the fridge and microwave sit is underutilized and would benefit from some simple custom wall to wall shelving-and could also be more counter space adjacent to the built in bench which could be a nice breakfast/coffee nook. Other useful items needed: 2 folding luggage racks, towel hooks in bathroom. Suction cup Soap rack in shower needs a more permanent home. Shower was spacious w/ hot water aplenty."

- "The property looks entirely like the pictures presented. The place was spotless, the management company was highly responsive to questions, and the light in the space is quite nice. If you are looking for a space near the ocean and fairly close to the downtown, this is worth consideration. There are a few reservations I have for a strong recommendation: 1). the neighborhood has a number of motel/rentals and parking is very tough on the street (there is no parking spot for the loft); 2). even though the listing explicitly says "loft" I did not understand that this property sits above another rental (normally not a big deal...however, we could hear them very loudly and clearly when we overlapped...including their loud TV! so not completely ideal if you have lots of people downstairs; 3) the neighborhood is quite dark at night and felt like there were random people walking around the street (not dangerous, but not exactly secure feeling either); 4). as there is no parking, there is no place to put something like a bike (we were able to lock ours to a fence, but it seemed like perhaps someone had tried to cut the lock!). So...on balance, while we had a fine experience with the space, I would make sure you fully understand the negative aspects and balance versus the positive."

Every detail is thought out whether you're having a work/play stay or just here to relax and enjoy the magic of Santa Barbara. We have most everything you’d need for a day at the beach or to relax in the private patio or hot tub.
Main bedroom has Cal King bed with 1000 count sheets. Wall mounted smart TV, black out curtains. Second bedroom/office has comfortable double size pull out sofa and generously sized desk and two monitors. Bathroom has one sink, generous shower and bidet. Living room has Picture frame smart TV, additional work space and dining table with room for six.
You have the entire apartment to yourself, with one adjoining wall and private patio with six-person spa and fragrant jasmine and trumpet vines fencing, fire pit, outdoor sofa and umbrellas. Room to store bikes or beach equipment.
Just blocks from Santa Barbara's famed East Beach, sand volleyball courts, beachfront fine dining. Within walking distance: Santa Barbara Zoo, rentable E-Bikes and a first rate natural grocery store and, in this Host's opinion, the best taco truck in town!

We have owned the space for close to 40 years and have a close relationship with the manager of the building as well as some of the long term - 20+ year - tenants. We invite guests for 30 or more days to call our East Beach apartment home, respecting the neighbours and shared walls as well as the collection of treasures.

. The living room is equipped with a flat screen TV, Direct TV, and DVD player as well as WiFi throughout our home.
For those that need a little extra room there is an additional queen sized Murphy bed in located in the additional sitting room. Bedroom and Murphy bed are separated by two doors, giving plenty of privacy.
The bathroom has a tub/shower combination. A coin-operated washing machine and dryer is on premises.
You can expect to find almost all amenities in the fully stocked kitchen.
Beach chairs and towels are available for use and are stored in the hallway closet.
Other things to note
Our unit is located near the train tracks and freeway. It's part of the cost of being close to the beach in Santa Barbara as both run along the coast through the south end of town as well as through Montecito, Summerland, and Carpinteria. The windows are well insulated, which helps the noise... as well as a nice offshore ocean breeze.

3-story condo (must be okay with stairs!). Access the condo from the garage or private patio. The first floor living room includes a brand new TV, couch and loveseat (each has a pull-out bed). Walk to the second floor to enjoy breakfast in our updated kitchen or dine on the spacious deck with a view of the ocean. On the top (third) floor choose from one of two bedrooms: the primary room has a new Brazilian-made king bed and attached bathroom, renovated in 2023. The large primary bedroom includes a workspace and plenty of room for a crib or air mattress. In the second bedroom enjoy views of the ocean as well as a recently (2023) renovated private bathroom with a tub. Plenty of closet space in both rooms.

Once you arrive you can travel around town on foot, bike, or take the Santa Barbara electric shuttle (only 50 cents to ride). The shuttle will take you to Stearns Wharf, Santa Barbara Harbor, and up and down State Street with all its fine restaurants and shopping! If you don't want to cook there are several restaurants within walking distance and the Funk Zone is just over a mile away.

Located amid an intimate collection of exclusive vacation rentals, the 445-square-foot Santa Rosa suite is in a semi-private wing on the second floor of the historic Hitchcock House. Stroll just one block to the famed East Beach. Or, ride bikes to downtown and Sterns Wharf.
Kick back in front of the decorative electric fireplace and watch a movie on a 32" TV. Enjoy morning coffee at the coffee table. The suite also includes a desk, a mini refrigerator and freezer, a microwave, and a coffee maker. The two cottages of this duplex each offer a wide range of amenities and updated, stylized charm. When rented together, there are five bedrooms, two bathrooms, a detached laundry room off the garage with a third bathroom, two kitchens, dual living spaces to hang out, and off-street parking for two cars.
The space
Wave riders will also have a couple of boogie boards and plenty of beach towels at their disposal! One king-size bed, three queen beds, and two twins allow for sleeping up to ten guests. The obvious benefit of a duplex is having the flexibility to flow between units when it is time for guests to gather, play games, and cook together while also providing autonomy for those seeking respite and a bit more privacy. Take a bike ride or brisk stroll along the waterfront to the Santa Barbara Zoo, the East Beach volleyball courts, the Andree Clark Bird Refuge, and Stearns Wharf. Stop in Tri-County Produce Co., a beloved open-air market one block over, take a swing in the batting cages down the street, or plan any number of adventures on foot, bike, or by car. East Beach Vista (Front unit) - As the front unit of the duplex, this comfortable, freshly updated two-bedroom, one-bath cottage is equipped for comfort. Sweet dreams await on a king canopy bed in the fourth bedroom, complete with a built-in window seat, walk-in closet, and en-suite bath with a walk-in shower. The fifth guest room provides a king bed. These rooms both offer direct balcony access.

A grand front porch boasts two seating areas with comfy lounge furniture.
The private master patio is equipped with seating for two, and an upstairs balcony has seating for four.

This is an older home, so guests may hear noises from adjacent bedrooms. The property is not equipped with air conditioning.
The rental is located near the Amtrak rails (as are most beach properties in the area) and the 101 freeway. While not an issue for most guests, earplugs are provided in each room for those who are sound-sensitive.
THE LOCATION
Walk 1 block to East Beach for days by the ocean. Enjoy numerous volleyball courts and picnic facilities, as well as oceanfront dining at East Beach Grill. Rent bicycles and cruise the 4-mile bike path that stretches from East Beach to Stearns Wharf and the Santa Barbara Harbor.

The modern open floor plan transitions directly into the dining room with large sliding door, creating the perfect indoor-outdoor flow.

Lovely dining area with open floor plan that seamlessly connects to the kitchen and living room - perfect for entertaining. Our oversized dining table can comfortably fit 10 people (12 people can fit if you squeeze together). Large glass sliding doors open to our 8 person jetted hot tub.

Our bathrooms are newly remodeled with marble floors, stunning tile work and plush luxury towels. The 2 full bathrooms upstairs each have a large dual vanity sink, toilet, and tub+shower combo. The 2 beautiful full bathrooms downstairs each have a single vanity sink, toilet room (for extra privacy), and a shower only (no tub). Stacked with luxury amenities, we provide all the following complementary to each of our guests: Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips, makeup wipes, cotton swabs, tissues, wash clothes, abundant towels, body lotion, hand soap and hair dryers.
OUTDOOR SPACES
Awesome 8-person jetted spa set to peak 104 temperature, along with outdoor seating area with firepit and a outdoor BBQ grill. The perfect get-away to soak up the beautiful Santa Barbara weather. Tall redwood fencing provides great privacy and seclusion.
THE AREA
Picturesque Santa Barbara location close to countless beaches, parks, restaurants, wine tasting, shopping, hiking trails, the Pier, and only 2 miles from Downtown Santa Barbara. Quick 2 minute walk to East Beach and a 10 minute walk to Santa Barbara's Zoo. Only a short drive to Hendry's Beach (incredible off-leash dog beach). Located right across the street from various restaurants and Tri-County Produce (a local favorite for fresh groceries). The perfect coastal get-away!
The garage is used for storage and supplies and is generally not accessible to our guests. We have 3 exterior off-street parking spaces (2 of the 3 are tandem). If you absolutely need more than 3 parking spaces, we can open the garage for you to park another 2 cars.
Our home is located close to the freeway and the train. This doesn't bother the majority of our guests, but we just wanted to let you know because we believe in full disclosure!
