We could hear the trains as the tracks are just a couple blocks away and the highway noise as well when outside but inside the house was very quiet. Our East beach studio is sweet and comfortable. It is perfect for 1 or 2 adults. The location is ideal, just 2 minutes walking to the beach. It is a very large and sunny studio and has a separate fully stocked kitchen with dining space, large room with Queen bed, awesome TV, separate vanity area, full bathroom with shower/tub and huge walk in closet. We have an outdoor patio around the back that has a BBQ and table and very nice place to relax and enjoy a meal. Its such a nice studio, its a great retreat after a long day enjoying the city! We have everything you need in the neighborhood, you don't even need a car! We have a local market on the corner, the SB Inn across the street that serves food all day, and bike rentals on the next block. The price is right and the location perfect; come see for yourself! The Santa Barbara Airbus has its SB pick up and drop off a block away at the Hyatt, and it is the perfect way to arrive from LAX- its a 3 minute walk and the Airbus is comfortable and affordable. Its a very safe neighborhood and best place to be in Santa Barbara!

Although this unit is not equipped with air conditioning, it is rarely needed with the mild summer temperatures at the beach. A ceiling fan ensures a pleasant breeze.

This studio is part of an older historical building with multiple units, so guests may hear noises from adjacent units. Several other units are available in the same property for rent to accommodate a group. Inquire if you need to sleep more than four people.
The home is located near the train tracks (all Santa Barbara beachfront properties share this feature) and the 101 freeway. If you are sensitive to noise when you sleep, we recommend using the earplugs provided in each unit. While the noise doesn't bother most guests, we like to be transparent so there are no surprises.

Conveniently situated near Montecito’s Lower Village, this completely updated 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom townhouse overlooks the Andree Clark Bird Refuge. 5 minute Uber or drive to the Funk Zone and downtown Santa Barbara and only a short walk or ride to Butterfly and East Beach. All of Montecito's restaurants, shops and grocery stores up the street! Very quiet location with great views.

- "The property is older and has character. There is noise from above and on the sides when they are occupied, but everyone was respectful and kept the noise to a minimum. Very relaxing and good sleep." - "Everything about the property was immaculate. Their was a lot of noise during the day but everyone stuck to quiet time at night. The daybed wasn’t very comfortable for an adult, but the king was top notch." - "For our little family of 3, (2 adults and 7 yo) the space fit us just fine. It was conveniently located to restaurants, a beach and a few playgrounds we could walk to. Which was helpful since we had taken the train down from SLO and were on foot! Would have liked a broom or vacuum for sand clean up and dish towel would have been nice. We had to wash dishes in the bathroom sink, and just used an extra beach towel. Sound wasn’t an issue for us as mentioned in other posts. We were able to crack windows and definitely used the fan provided, it was warm and stuffy for sure but tolerable. Overall a fun stay!"
