As you enter the front door of our craftsman home you'll find a 600 square foot private space with abundant window lighting and an eclectic set of furnishings. Enjoy the living/dining room combo, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom as well as the outdoor spaces including the front porch bistro table and the side yard with two Adirondack chairs.
At the back of the kitchen there is an exterior door with a deadbolt separating the front portion of the home with the back of the home where we live. There is only one partial shared wall between the two spaces allowing for maximum privacy.
The neighborhood is dog friendly and we have a small dog in our living space but in order to keep the rental space clean and enjoyable for all guests, we don't allow dogs.
The location is on a quiet street and convenient to many of Portland's unique neighborhoods (Kenton, Alberta Arts, Mississippi, St. John's) and five miles from downtown. There is easy access to many conveniences like Columbia Park (3 blocks), bus stop (two blocks), U. of P. (one mile), and Green Zebra Grocery (6 blocks). Kenton is a trendy neighborhood in North Portland. It has numerous restaurants, coffee shops, grocery and convenient stores, shops, pubs, and parks, etc. The University of Portland is less than a mile away and we are 2.5 blocks from a Columbia Park. Columbia Park has an indoor swimming pool, a children's play area, and many picnic tables. Denver street is nearby with many options for food.

It is possible to get around without a car. The bus stop for 75 is two blocks away and can be taken to the Max line farther down Lombard at Interstate Ave. Uber and Lyft are always a short wait. If you have a car the free street parking is plentiful in front of the house.

Complete with a full kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and beautiful front porch, this home is within walking distance to St. Johns' quaint downtown, stunning Cathedral Park, and landmark bridge. University of Portland is also only a short distance away!

This space has a great Portland vibe. The cute + cozy "chateau" is outfitted with custom furniture, original artwork by Portland artists, and handmade ceramic dishes -- just a few things that make this space unique. We spent hours relaxing on the porch, watching joggers, dog walkers and the many assorted neighborhood cats! Agree with another reviewer that the claw foot tub should be mentioned as some may find it hard to use.
