The 2nd upstairs bedroom is large and features a Comfortable King bed with comfy pillows and high-quality cotton linens and blankets. There is a large chest of drawers and 2 nightstands for guests’ personal items. Both nightstands have reading lamps for those who enjoy a late night read. Large unobstructed south facing windows let in plenty of daytime light, and stargazing at night. The 2nd level bath is located by the King bedroom and features a bathtub/shower combo separated by a pocket door then, two separate vanities, and plenty of space for guests’ personal items. The large fully enclosed backyard is perfect for sitting around a cozy wood fire chimney and enjoying a glass of wine or having smores with the kids! (bring your own wood or grab some at the grocery store) Outdoor sofa & loveseat, and Adirondack chairs make this a great space to lounge on a nice evening. There is a large outdoor dining table and chairs w/ seating for (8) and a gas BBQ Grill. This outdoor space is the perfect place to relax and unwind! There is also a small grassy area in the backyard, a playhouse with a slide, kid sized chairs & a kids picnic area. The garden has seasonal herbs and vegetables. Guests are welcome to enjoy any of the herbs or seasonal vegetables.
The front door is glass and looks out onto the front porch and yard, the large porch is covered with comfortable seating & a bistro table with a table top fire bowl. The front yard is fully fenced with a 3 foot fence.

Location is 20 min to PDX and to Vancouver WA. The neighborhood can easily be navigated without a car. The Bus or UBER is a good option if you don`t plan to bring a car. There is a bus stop within 2 blocks and it is easy to cycle or walk to local amenities. It is quite possible to never leave the neighborhood and have plenty to do and see! Once you get downtown you can use the MAX light rail to get all over Portland Metro

Once you get downtown you can use the MAX light rail to get all over Portland Metro. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the hill from the house but public transportation is limited.
Other Things to Note:
- this property is located on the hillside in Forest Park and it is a drive up a steep and winding road to the property. The road can be sometimes slick and hard to access during snow or winter months. An SUV is recommended during the winter months.
-This is a lower level daylight basement apartment and the owners and their children live directly above the property. As with any Basement apartment noise can travel.

Portland City Code requires that we keep a log with the Name, Address and Vehicle Information for ALL guests. This will be required before check in. If you are renting a vehicle, we will need the License Plate number or we will need to note alternate transportation (ie; air, train, bike) Please provide this information with your confirmed booking.
-You must be over the age of 25 to rent any of our properties.
~You may be required to provide a photo of your Drivers License or Government ID directly to the host. This is for the safety and security of both guests & property Owners, and will be requested at the discretion of Stay in My District.
- No additional guests and visitors/guests that are not registered on the reservation booking are allowed to be on the property after 10pm.
- Pets are allowed at this property and must be pre-approved prior to arrival with an additional pet fee of $50 per pet. This home accepts up to (2) dogs. PLEASE be sure to read and understand our pet policy.
- Smoking anywhere on the property will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit plus can result in additional fees up to $500 for smoke removal.
- Self Check In using lock box. Check-In is any time after 4:00PM and Check-Out is by 11:00AM.
- Housekeeping is required for all stays over 15 days and provided at an additional cost of $50 per cleaning. Basic cleaning including disinfecting kitchen and bathroom, change linens and clean floors. This will be charged after confirmed reservation with an alteration request. If you would like a mid stay cleaning on shorter stays this is an option as well.

This beautiful newly built home is located in the quiet residential University Park neighborhood. Located within walking distance from a diverse offering of restaurants, bars, shops, and parks and only a short jaunt to the University of Portland makes this house a convenient place to stay while in Portland. It was thoughtfully designed with cathedral ceilings that allow for an ample amount of light. The light is easily filtered with motor operated blinds. When sleeping in the upstairs bedroom, you will awake to sounds of a variety of birds that dwell in the surrounding canopy of trees.
This is a 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath home with a separate gated entrance and private garden. It is fully furnished with all new appliances, cookware, and linens. Welcome to Historic St. Johns! This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, cozy cottage is located in one of Portland's oldest, most historic neighborhoods. Complete with a full kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and beautiful front porch, this home is within walking distance to St. Johns' quaint downtown, stunning Cathedral Park, and landmark bridge. University of Portland is also only a short distance away!
This space has a great Portland vibe. The cute + cozy "chateau" is outfitted with custom furniture, original artwork by Portland artists, and handmade ceramic dishes -- just a few things that make this space unique. Guests have access to the entire private apartment and small seating area at top of stairs.
**The owner lives onsite in the main house and this is a private basement apartment. This is a lower level basement apartment and the owners live directly above the property. As with any Basement apartment noise can travel. The owners have provided a noise machine, and a fan to help with the noise but if you are very sensitive this may not be a good fit.
**Our personal bikes are available and are shared with guests on a first come-first served basis for an additional $10 per night per bike to cover maintenance and normal wear & tear. Must be requested ahead of time.
The Neighborhood:
The home is located in the heart of the historic "St Johns" neighborhood, in Portland OR. This neighborhood is a local favorite and a great place to experience the heart and soul of one of Portland’s favorite neighborhoods. The river and Forest Park to the West, Downtown Portland to the South, you will be in the center of the action! St Johns boasts quaint little coffee shops, restaurants and unique shopping. There are a variety of restaurants, pubs, breweries, candy/ice cream shops, bike shops, and a convenience store within 5 blocks of the home. Just across the bridge from Portland’s iconic Forest Park with miles of single track running, hiking and mtn biking trails. The Forest Park trail system connects all the way to NW Portland and Washington Park, home of the Oregon Zoo, Portland Japanese Garden and the Rose Garden. Only 10 minute drive to Downtown and 20 minute drive to the PDX Airport. St Johns is an eclectic North Portland neighborhood with it`s own town center and rich History. The neighborhood retains its small-town charm with it’s “Plaza” or town center, where events such as the weekly, Saturday market are held. Spring thru Summer the local Farmers Market is every Saturday. Annual St Johns Parade, St John`s Ale Fest and the Cathedral Park Jazz Fest are a must! Pack a picnic blanket for an afternoon in Cathedral Park, cross the picturesque St. Johns Bridge (Portland’s most photographed bridge) and get ready to explore a lovely, lesser-known side of Portland.
Getting Around:
St Johns is a few blocks from University of Portland, approx. 10 minutes to NW Portland/NW 23rd Neighborhood, and The Pearl District, less than 15 minutes to Downtown and Sauvies Island. Location is 20 min to PDX and to Vancouver WA. The neighborhood can easily be navigated without a car. The Bus or UBER is a good option if you don`t plan to bring a car. There is a bus stop within 2 blocks and it is easy to cycle or walk to local amenities. It is quite possible to never leave the neighborhood and have plenty to do and see! Once you get downtown you can use the MAX light rail to get all over Portland Metro

Portland City Code requires that we keep a log with the Name, Address and Vehicle Information for ALL guests. This will be required before check in. If you are renting a vehicle, we will need the License Plate number or we will need to note alternate transportation (ie; air, train, bike) Please provide this information with your confirmed booking.

The space was immaculately clean, check in could not have been easier, and communication with the host was nearly instantaneous. It's a good amount of space with just about any convenience you could want. In-unit laundry and plentiful charging cables were especially nice touches. My home is a recently renovated 2bed/2.5ba + office 1,720 sq. ft.
The living room is wonderfully furnished with a huge down filled sectional and a love-seat. Also includes a gas built-in fireplace and a 65" Smart TV with Roku.
The kitchen includes a gas stove, large double door fridge, microwave, coffee maker (drip & Keurig), insta teapot, instapot, air-fryer, crockpot, and fully stocked dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils. Includes large dining table with 8 high top chairs.
Office include a full size couch, 55" curved Samsung Smart TV with Roku and a computer desk with office chair. 1/2 bath on first floor next to office.
Backyard is fully fenced with awesome awning that provides year round comfort. There's a firepit with 4 lounger chairs, along with a full size outdoor dining table and 6 accompanying chairs. Also a small coffee table with 2 smaller chairs. Propane grill is included. Good privacy in the backyard for an awesome morning coffee drinking experience.
Upstairs - 2 bedrooms
Master bedroom is huge with large ceiling fan. Includes super comfy king size bed. Master bathroom was recently renovated with luxury finishes, includes new walk-in in shower with bench and massive rain-shower head. Awesome view of Forest Park from the bedroom windows. There is a queen sized air mattress available for use in this room or anywhere you decide to place it.
Guest bedroom 1 includes a comfy king size bed.
Full bath on 2nd floor next to guest bedrooms, recently renovated with awesome finishes. Laundry room is in upstairs guest bathroom.
All of the home is accessible except for the garage and the shed in the backyard.

This cozy and comfortable studio is close to classic Portland eateries, taverns, and markets like Drunken Noodle, New Seasons Market, Cathedral Coffee, Sundown Pub, and food carts. We are also within walking distance to several parks that are fun for kids.
You’ll love my place because of the well appointed kitchen and the super comfy bed. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families.

The studio is in the basement with a private entrance on the side of the house. The basement is insulated well and guests should feel comfortable in their own private space.

The 1,100 sf unit is located on the second floor of a 1914 building. This is a tall building with lots of character. We completely rebuilt and remodeled in 2019, making sure to add all kinds of fun touches.
The main room ceiling is covered in sealed barn metal (definitely a Portland look)
Local sculpture and a few other unique touches give the space an artsy vibe.

This light-filled “mother-in-law” gem has been maximized for comfort and livability. Floor to ceiling windows plus multiple skylights and full of plants, you feel like you are living in a warm greenhouse. While the footprint may be small, the luxuries are not. Enjoy Portland while staying in our light and bright basement apartment in the University Park neighborhood of St. Johns. Walking distance to the University of Portland, and a great food truck pod. We are less than 5 mi from the Moda Center. It's a nice get away from downtown Portland, but only a 15 minute drive. Also close to the beautiful St. John's bridge/park and the Alberta Arts District. The apartment has one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a sleeper sofa. There's a separate entrance.

The living room has a smart TV with streaming services. There's a fold down couch that turns into a futon type bed in the living room. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, toaster and electric kettle. There is a short set of stairs down to the apartment.

Designed With Comfort In Mind
If you have not slept on a Tempur-Pedic mattress with adjustable bed frame you are missing out on the best sleep of your life. Seriously. I had a guest say, “I never sleep till noon.” Another guest, “The mattresses are oh soooo comfy.” The sofa bed is just as comfortable. I have had guests comment, “The sofa was so comfortable I did not have to use the bed.”
The Bedrooms
There are two in all. The first is an extra-large master bedroom with two huge closets, luxury firm mattress with adjustable bed frame, dedicated office space and a full length mirror in the closet you can move anywhere in the room. There is, also, a glam mirror with adjustable lighting.
The second room is a living room/ bedroom with a kitchenette (two refrigerators and a microwave), a closet with shelves and clothes rack, a wall mounted 42” Sony Smart TV and coffee table.

It has everything you need for cooking and includes a coffee and tea station and small appliances like a toaster, bread machine and rice cooker.
Bathroom
This has a shower with tiled walls and river rock on the bottom for a bit of a foot massage. While you are massaging your feet it is a good time to take in the fragrance of fresh eucalyptus.

Large private garden perfect for pets or just relaxing. I have had guests meditate, enjoy their morning coffee while getting some work done, sip wine while enjoying a fire and just hang out.

As you open the door you will enter a mud room where you can hang jackets and backpacks. The door has a code for entering and auto locks when shut. The weather stripping at the bottom of the door is snug to the floor to keep debris, rain and snow from coming inside.

This is a cozy room with the charm from the 1922 construction updated with modern comforts. It has a comfortable bed, a desktop and office chair, and enough room for a solo traveler with limited needs. There is also a quiet and powerful A/C as well as a thermostat wall heater. The room is unique and charming and guests are welcome to use the common spaces for cooking, hanging out or working on their laptop.
This is a bedroom on the 2nd floor of our home. The host stays in a small unit in the back so the whole home is available exclusively for our guests.

Our quaint studio, located in N. Portland welcomes you with everything you need to have a classic PDX vacay.
A private entrance, as well as transit access to explore PDX (bus stop just outside your private gate), 4 full service markets (1 organic), trendy St. Johns, and quick access to downtown PDX via the St. Johns Bridge. The space is comfortable, squeaky clean, fast WiFi, private laundry, smart TV, along with many other amenities. Space for two, solo and business travelers.
The space
Welcome to St Johns Urban Studio...a fully furnished private space with all the comforts of home. It's small--about 320 sf--but cozy, inviting, with everything needed for stays of any length. It offers a kitchenette, complete with a single burner, electric skillet, steamer/rice cooker, toaster, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. There is a smart ROKU TV as well as a digital antenna that pics up about 30 channels. Free fast Wi-Fi is also provided. There is a comfortable set of QUEEN BUNKS, not safe for children under 10. There height of the upper bunk poses a safety hazard. Within the full bath there is a washer/dryer unit (Included if staying 4 nights or longer. $15 for 3 or fewer nights) for your convenience.
I am unable to accept pets or service animals as it poses a risk to the health and safety of my daughter who lives with me. I have also complied with Airbnb’s pet/service animal exemption process. Thank you for understanding.
There is enough coffee/tea/snacks, toilet tissue (4 rolls), shower gels and a small amount of laundry detergent (3-4 loads) to get you started and for your convenience. You may find extra items under the sink left by other guests. Please help yourself to what you find. Anything beyond these complimentary items is the responsibility of the guest.

Once booked, about 24 hours before posted check in time, we will send you your door code and short video on how to let yourself in. If you need help with check in, we are just a call or text away.
You have full private access to the space and the private outdoor micro patio inside the gate where you can RESPONSIBLY smoke anything legal (420 friendly) for the over-21s. My space is not a "Flop and Bake" place. Indulging a bit for relaxing (as with a cocktail) after a full day of hiking or site seeing is all good.
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING, VAPING OR OPEN FLAME INSIDE THE SPACE. Thank you! :)
I have also at times, accommodated 3-4 guests. DO NOT show up with more than 2 guests expecting to stay- Have the courtesy to ask and I will try to accommodate for a $fee)
Early check-in may be available. At the very least, if I am home you may be able to drop your luggage. Late-night check in is always an option with the door code. Because I work, and have my cleaning scheduled with my service, I am sorry, but cannot accommodate late check outs.
Also, in planning your trip you might also search the web..."Travel Portland" website will give you TONS of information beyond what is outlined here. Your host is a local naturopath. So the space is equipped with only the best, Doctor-approved products. We provide locally roasted beans from St. John's coffee roasters, all the fixins and a coffee press. The kitchen is fully equipped with spices, extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper grinders, and non-GMO corn kernels. Grab a fresh, local salmon at the nearby store, get some veggies at our farmer's market and bring it back to cook on your gas stove/oven.

Our home is a gold-certified back-yard habitat with native songbirds & plants. The patio is private, peaceful, and welcoming for guests. Forest Park, Cathedral Park, and Pier Park are all within walking distance of this distinctive Tudor-style home in the St. Johns neighborhood. Forest Park holds miles of hiking and walking trails including Leif Erikson Drive (11 miles) and Wildwood Trail (30 miles). Cathedral Park, picturesque and aptly named, is located under the St. Johns Bridge. Pier Park is 75 acres of primarily Douglas Fir and Sequoia trees and hosts the famous Pier Park Disc Course.
By automobile, the Columbia Gorge is about half an hour, the Pacific Ocean about one-hour, and Mt. Hood skiing and hiking about one and one-half hours. Downtown Portland is 15 minutes by car.
Or, leave your car at home. Portland has bike routes and St. Johns is well-served by mass transit.

We are a busy and hospitable couple who have created a welcoming and relaxing home. Mary Ann works from home in an office located on the 2nd floor. John is retired but keeps busy working in the garden and his shop. We share our couch and home with a handsome Silken Windhound. He loves people, playing chase with his four-legged friends, and never barks.

The Oculus House is a peaceful one bedroom house with a king size bed. It is located down a private alley in a quiet neighborhood. It’s open floor plan and high ceilings gives a balance of comfort and artistic appeal. There is a lounging loft which can be used as a sleeping space for agile children and adults. We have designed the house to honor the era in which it was built and elevate the aesthetic. The kitchen is well-stocked and the bathroom has a luxurious jetted tub.
The space
In the 1800's, this property was a horse ranch surrounded by a fruit orchard. Originally used as a workshop to fabricate automatic car-wash equipment, this detached 1-bedroom guesthouse has been renovated by our dear friend who is an artist and a master builder. The Oculus House was built on the site of the original carriage house for one of the oldest homes in St. Johns. The property resides adjacent to the original farmhouse and ranch-hand bunk-house, now residences. The site sits near the end of a secluded gravel alley beside a grade school playground and offers privacy while being walking-distance to the restaurants, cafes, shops and independent movie theaters of St. Johns. Alley access and 1-car off-street parking is available for direct access and there is also plenty of on-street parking with path leading back to the Oculus House.
Guest access
We have a spacious driveway with room for one car to park right in front of the Oculus House. The house is located on an alley in a quiet neighborhood. We are a block and a half from the beautiful Pier Park with trails and a frisbee golf course and a half a mile walk to Cathedral Park under the St Johns Bridge which is near our shopping and restaurant district.
Other things to note
We have a no pet policy due to family allergies to animal fur and dander. We will charge a $500 professional cleaning fee if there is evidence that the rule is broken.

Relax in St Johns with beer on draft! This newly renovated, private, ground floor studio apartment, detached from the main house. Bright and modern, this pet-friendly space is accessed from a private entrance off the oversized yard and has its own patio. And there's access to a kegerator that usually has a local ale on tap.
2 blocks from Pier Park with its majestic trees and world-class disc golf, a short walk to downtown St Johns, and a short bike ride or drive to the University of Portland.
The space
The studio apartment is on the ground floor of a detached building separate from the main house. The apartment is newly remodeled and featuring French entry doors, it's clean, bright, and airy. Unlike a basement apartment, it has high ceilings and is well insulated to keep out the winter draft. The main house is undergoing a major remodel, but it has no effect on the unit you'll be staying in (except perhaps stuff in the driveway).
Sleeping: The primary bed is a full-size memory foam mattress. There's also a comfortable, easy to pull out, sleeper sofa. It's in-between a full and queen size (Ikea sizing). Technically it could sleep as many as four people, but we find it to be comfortable for up to 2 adults and 1 child.
Kitchen: Kitchenette includes a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, 2-burner induction stovetop, and a multi-function air fryer and toaster oven. Utensils and pots/pans are well-stocked. Water kettle and French press are provided for coffee or tea.
Living space: Relax with a comfy sofa, small dining table for 2-3 people, and a 65" flat screen TV with Roku for streaming.
Bathroom: The cozy bathroom features slate floors and a custom tiled shower.
Outside: A big yard is shared with our family. Within but set apart from the yard is a patio just for your apartment. It has a table and chairs and a big patio umbrella. Enjoy the sunshine during nice weather or visit the chickens. A shared grill is available for use.
There is another apartment upstairs that is rented full-time. The tenant is courteous and typically quiet, but there may be some noise. While we don't expect there to be any problem, if for some reason there is excessive noise we will certainly address the problem.

Ample parking in the driveway or on the street. Please be aware that construction activities on the main house may partially obstruct the driveway, but we try to always ensure there is parking available for you. A Level 2 EV charger is available for your complimentary use. Self check-in with an electronic door lock.
Other things to note
Outside spaces are shared with our family, including a child. We won't bother you but are happy to chat or help however you need. We have 2 larger dogs (65 lbs, 80 lbs) that will be in the yard at times. They're friendly, although they will likely bark at you. Especially the smaller one! Please let us know what pets you'll be bringing; more than 1 pet by request only.

The Canopy Loft is a sun filled, second story studio designed and built by my husband and I to be a cozy home away from home. The window views are full of foliage making you feel like you're up in the trees, hence the name. Our neighborhood is quiet and calm, and we are walking distance from downtown St Johns as well as many parks. The studio can also be turned into your own personal movie theater!
The space
The studio has a bedroom, living room, eating area and kitchenette together in the main space, with a full bathroom just down the little hallway. The kitchenette is perfect for simple meals and for re-heating leftovers from amazing Portland restaurants (just ask us for recommendations!), with a microwave, toaster, mini fridge, electric kettle and pour over coffee maker. We provide local coffee from Nossa Familia, tea, mugs, wine glasses and compostable dishware and if there's anything you find yourself missing, just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
The space is well insulated and air tight with a Coway HEPA air filter and a state-of-the-art heating and cooling system, making it extremely comfortable and quiet. In town for a work trip? This is the perfect place to concentrate and be productive with a work table and comfortable chairs oriented next to plug in power and fast wireless internet. We also provide an iron, ironing board and blow dryer, in case you need to make a good impression while in town.
The studio also converts into a personal movie theater with a 110" projector screen and Bose soundbar. We provide microwave popcorn and encourage all of our guests to get cozy and put on a movie - we have a Roku with all of the common streaming apps installed. The studio is also equipped with room darkening shades so the movie experience can happen in the middle of the day if that's what you're feeling! The shades also help if you just want to sleep in on a sunny morning.

Located above the garage in the detached structure on our property, the space is private with it's own entrance. Our goal is to make the logistics of your stay as seamless as possible. The entry door code will be the last 4 digits of your phone number and all detailed info(think Wifi code, projector instructions) will be on little signs around the space and in a welcome text. The check-out process is as simple as it gets - just walk out the door and it will lock automatically behind you! If you find you're missing something, just let us know - we live on the property with our kiddo and will be happy to help.

The space is designed with your comfort in mind, offering only the best organic products. We provide locally roasted beans from our trusted coffee roasters, all the fixings, and a coffee press for your morning brew. The full kitchen is stocked with spices, extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper grinders, non-GMO corn kernels, and breakfast offerings, making it easy for you to prepare a delicious meal. Pick up a fresh local salmon at the nearby store, get some veggies at our farmers market, and bring it back to cook on your gas stove/oven.
The living area has an extra-large queen-convertible couch. The sheets and blankets for the convertible are in the bottom drawers of the living room wall unit. Pillows can be found under the bed in the bedroom.
A remote control operates the window shade above the sink. The remote is labeled in a holder attached to the light switch to the left of the kitchen sink, along with the battery-operated candle remote. The window shade remote is small, but it's in there.
There are two heat/AC units: one in the living space and the other in the bedroom. Each one has a remote. The remote in the living space is located in a holder by the kitchen table. As you enter the bedroom, the bedroom remote is on the wall to the left. Please only adjust the up and down arrows based on your comfort.
There are two fans. The remote for the living room fan is in the holder on the mantel, and the remote for the bedroom fan is in the nightstand's top drawer.
Please do not turn the fireplace off. Use the up and down buttons on the fireplace. Press the down flame indicator when shutting down the fireplace until only the pilot light is left on. Instructions for operating the Jacuzzi tub, shower, and sofa bed are in the Hummingbird House manual located on the kitchen counter.
Returning the remotes to their designated places ensures they're readily available for the next guest and helps us maintain the quality of our service. Please note that the loss of any remote may result in a replacement charge, so we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

If renting a room, you’ll have a private room with a shared bathroom on the main floor of the house, and the patio and garden to relax in. The space
This one-bedroom apartment is the entire front half of our house. The apartment includes the bedroom with a queen-size bed, cozy living room with a full-size sofa bed, bathroom, and kitchenette stocked with basic ware. The kitchenette contains a refrigerator, table and chairs, coffeemaker, hot water kettle, toaster oven, induction burners, and microwave. Please note that the restroom is accessed through the bedroom. There's a speaker to play your music, Wi-Fi, TV. Linens, books, and board games are available to you.
Summer months are lovely, with central air conditioning, a sunflower forest in the front, many varieties of dahlias, and so much to do within a 10-minute walk.
Private space as mentioned above, with a separate entrance through the front door of the house. Coffee and tea, as well as breakfast bars and oatmeal, will be available each morning. AND, there are so many delicious breakfasts and grocery stores close by.

The Apartment is the front half of my house, set up as a one bedroom apartment with a kitchenette, small dining area, living room with sofa bed, bedroom with queen bed and full bathroom accessed through the bedroom. There is a locked door between the front apartment and the back. There is not access to the back yard at this time. Parking is always available on our street. Secure Motorcycle Parking can be arranged behind out gate, just let us know ahead of time.

Want to bring your dog? Happy to accommodate for a fee after we discuss. Pets must be well behaved and house broken. Send an inquiry and I will respond quickly with special offer that includes the pet fee that is appropriate for the size / number of pets / length of stay. We have a lovely private guest Studio in North Portland, St. John's neighborhood. The studio is located on the second floor of a 1957 home and has natural light entering through 4 skylights (they open) and book-end windows. There is a reading area, a large closet, queen bed, large bathroom with a stand up shower, a mini split heater/air conditioner unit. There is a kitchen area with expandable table for 2, a mini fridge, single burner, toaster oven and cable TV. DM me for shorter stays.
The space
St. Johns is a quiet neighborhood with lots of green spaces for trail running, disc golf, beach time at the river and hundreds of miles of hiking through Forest park just a walk over the St. Johns bridge. There is a quaint downtown with excellent restaurant options, bars, boutiques and coffee shops. We are located one block from Pier park, a great place for a walk or a game of disc golf. We are 3 blocks from the bus line and a mile from downtown St. John's and Cathedral park and Forrest park. Non-smoking guests only please, Highly sensitive.

You will have access the private patio, lower entrance and upstairs studio. You are welcome to use the shared laundry room with the downstairs and tiny home tenant.
The downstairs tenant is a very nice chatty guy if you bump into him:) the tiny home woman is very sweet. The two of them are like family. Their entrances are on the other side of the house.

The property has the 1957 home on it and a tiny home on the other side of the house from the studio. It sits on an oversized lot with beautiful large trees. The tenant who lives downstairs on the first floor is my uncle. He and his dog Larry are very friendly and you will probably bump into them outside periodically. He enjoys conversation if you are open to it. A very sweet quiet older woman lives in the tiny home. There is a communal vibe on the property.

Also, we do sit just a few houses away from a commercial street corner and busy street that has a gas station, bank, and grocery store, so there is the potential for noise, especially during the day.
The street we’re on is pretty narrow and only a block long, but that doesn’t stop speed racers from trying to cut through to avoid traffic on the busier street. Certainly be aware of that if you’re bringing small children or your good dogs!
