You need to let the host know your approximate arrival time the day before. When you are on your way to the hotel, let the host know this and he will meet you there. There is no place to store your luggage while you are waiting. Our host arrived about an hour after we arrived, so we grabbed a chair in the piazza and had some snacks. It is not really a good place to stay if you need handicap accessible. There is a small lift and some stairs to negotiate to get to the top floor. Perhaps there are some rooms on a lower floor. Our Host spoke English and was very helpful, showing us how to get into the building and restaurant recommendations. There is no one there when he leaves. He gave us his # and said to call if we needed anything. We did not need to call him. The room was quiet and had AC, which we did use. "

It is well kept and well appointed. The only recommendation I have is a minor one. I would suggest upgrading the living room furniture so that it is a bit more comfortable. I only think this is an issue if you have an extended stay as I did (two months). The current furniture is fine, just something to consider for the future. The bathroom, thougn small, had a shower with good water pressure and plently of hot water. Also a much appreciated washing machine. The location is excellent. Walkable (mostly under porticos) from the train/bus station dragging suitcases. On the edge of the University district and walkable to all parts of central Bologna. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Coop supermarket around the corner.The only disappoinment was that the canal over which the apartment has fine views from the two good sized windows, was empty. We did hear some crowd noise on weekend nights but it did not disturb sleep. Hosts are lovely people with some English. They responded quickely via Vrbo website. Communication was not a problem. This particular room is dedicated to the book "Alice in Wonderland" and all the details are on topic. A large crystal chandelier enhances the peacock blue of the ceiling. The bathroom has an antique mirror and a comfortable shower cubicle. The room has a hotel-level double bed, desk, wardrobe, SmartTV and coffee table with kettle, cups, selection of teas and herbal teas, snacks.

Bibliò Rooms is a guesthouse born from the renovation of an elegant apartment in a 1940s building in the center of Bologna. The concept of the structure is the charm of the books that are present in large bookcases in the common areas and in every room. Each room has its own guaranteed privacy and a door with an independent lock.

A 40mq flat right in the middle of the historical centre of Bologna.
The flat is in a seventeenth-century building from where you can see Parco Verde.

In a few minutes you can reach the main square of the city Piazza Maggiore and many other monuments and attractions.
Provided with a kitchen, dining area, living room (with a LCD HDTV, 42inches), three beds, one bathroom.

The flat is provided with air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen(with dishwasher), and its interiors were designed with charme by a famous Italian architect.
