- "My family stayed here for a week, we LOVED this place, a true hidden gem! Besides the location being 15min drive from everywhere we wanted to go, the place was perfect for my family (grandparent, spouse, toddler). Mary Beth thought of everything one would need in a home away from home. Nightlights, laundry detergents, lots of towels, large dressers and closets, reusable water bottles, water filters and even mini candy bars. The place isn't large but feels cozy and just right since most of our stay we were exploring Portland for the first time. We rented a car and had no issue parking in front of the house everyday. The street isn't busy and the neighborhood seems safe and revitalizing with newer constructions. There was even a guest book that showed we weren't the only family that really appreciated this beautiful home for more than 10 yrs! And we know this won't be the last time we come back to visit."

Woodstock is one the last "Old Portland Neighborhoods". You'll be just three blocks from downtown Woodstock with Coffee Shops, Bakeries, Grocery, Restaurants, Shopping, etc and two blocks from Woodstock Park. You can hop on the bus, three blocks away, and take Portland's easy transit or it is about a 16 minutes drive to downtown Portland. Portland is known as one of the country’s best food towns, with over 600 registered food carts and more breweries than any city in the world. There is also a vibrant music, film and visual art scene, with many famous theaters and museums. You’ll be close to everything but far enough to enjoy a relaxing trip. We're just around the corner from Clinton Park, which is an amazing outdoor space to take the kids or the pets!

We are only an 11-minute walk from the Hinterland Bar & Food Carts, an 8-minute walk to Benbear's Beers and all the food carts at The Lot on Division, a 3-minute car ride to the famous Bagdad Theatre and Pub and all the amazing restaurants, bars, arcades, and public spaces that the Hawthorn and Division streets have to offer! If you're feeling adventurous, a short walk or drive (it's 1 mile away) brings you to the base of Mt. Tabor; the 196-acre city park that is perfect for a hike, a picnic, or a bike ride.The 360-degree view of Portland from the top is incredible!

Our home offers enough space for everyone to feel at home, while also showcasing her 95-year-old charm. During your stay, you'll notice the original wood floors, the glass door knobs, built-in-place cabinetry with the original leaded glass in the dining room, and the coved ceilings. We think she's pretty great!

Welcoming you as you come inside, you'll see the comfortable seating in the living room. Please make yourself comfortable! Our smart TV allows you to access all your own streaming services easily. The dining room offers seating for 6 and is a great place to play one of the many games or puzzles we offer, or to enjoy a homemade meal prepared in our well-appointed kitchen. Our large picture windows offer views of mature trees right across the street, and they're beautiful in any season! You'll find two bedrooms with super comfortable beds and luxury linens that will offer a restful nights' sleep. They both offer king sized beds. **Please note: Access to the sitting room with space for an additional guest is obtained by walking through one of the other bedrooms, but it does have doors that close it off. This set up makes for a perfect "family suite."

Our backyard is fully enclosed and is a great space to play with the kids. While enjoying the private back yard space, you'll be able to see a variety of local plants and succulents lovingly planted around the perimeter of the yard. When you're outside, you'll undoubtedly be visited by the two juvenile crows that were born in the pine trees behind the house last year. Their names are Cheryl and Russell (get it? they're crows...) and they love peanuts. You'll find some in the kitchen cabinet above the coffee pot. You can throw them out or lay a few on the railing outside the kitchen door and watch them collect their treasures through the kitchen window. It's really neat!

The attic and basement are our personal spaces and therefore, access is not permitted. Access to the garage is reserved for the owners, as well. Thank you for your understanding!

While we don't have cameras inside our home (we respect your privacy), we do have cameras and noise monitors outside. We had to reach out to the owner & she was very quick with a response. We would have preferred coffee to be stalked rather than snacks though. Great house." - "My stay in Ashley’s beautifully maintained two plus bedroom home couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Great host information on arrival….a local wine left on the counter…wonderfully comfortable beds…and off street parking…it was ideal. My 12 pound maltese appreciated the park near by and i appreciated how safe the neighborhood felt! The only slight issue was the one bathroom if more people staying…it was pretty tight! Oh…did i mention the private fenced backyard… for kids or pets..or a barbecue!"
