The space
Charming Victorian, urban oasis, featuring large two bedrooms with all modern amenities in Hyde Park, a neighborhood within the city. The unit accommodates 4-7 persons comfortably. The unit has all HWF, 12' ceilings, Oriental Rugs, Eclectic Furnishings and Art. Both bedrooms have queen beds: the primary bedroom, en-suite has a Jacuzzi, while the second bedroom has a adjoining full size bathroom. The bedrooms are bright and cheery, offering closets and dresser space. Queen 'air beds' are available with built in air pump for easy set-up in the living-room for 2-3 additional guests. Automatically maintains comfort setting of choice. Plenty of fresh linens and towels are available. Check-in is at 3 PM and Check-out is 11 AM - unless other wise discussed.

The unit is on the first floor of a 2-Family home, with convenient side access (back door kitchen access) from the driveway. My unit only has access for parking in the large driveway. The second floor unit is occupied, and completely separate from the first floor unit. There are hardwood floors throughout. The furniture is modern with a twist on tradition, an eclectic collection of artwork from travels enhancing the comfort and charm of my home.

The third Room (aka) "The Innkeepers Closet" remains locked and not accessible to guests.

The innkeeper has a separate suite and separate entrance in the basement and sometimes stays there.

The kitchen is as stocked as you could want (meaning anything we looked for was there and then some) and the large table let us eat on one end and keep a puzzle going on the other!The house itself is very comfortable, parking is easy and off the street, and Hyde Park itself is interesting and walkable. Quiet, residential, family friendly neighborhood 6 miles from downtown Boston. A 5 minutes walk to the train or bus that takes you directly into town. Ideally located in the Roslindale Village section of Boston, my place is just a short train ride away from most area attractions. It's also a short stroll to trendy restaurants and shops, commuter rail and the Arnold Arboretum. All within a 5 minute walk from my front door.

Spacious one-bedroom apartment with great natural light. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Boston. The apartment includes one bedroom, dining room, living room, a full kitchen and a bathroom with tub/shower. We are within a 10-12 minute walking distance to the Arnold Arboretum - a great spot to experience the outdoors in Boston - and a 7-8 minute walk from Roslindale Village; with many bars, restaurants, shops and a local farmer's market to enjoy. Forest Hills MBTA station is a 20-minute walk away. Guests have access to the back porch and our large and sunny back yard. There is a TV in the bedroom with access to premium streaming services. Off-street parking available in our large driveway. Washer/dryer is available to guests upon request. This is a multi-family home and owners live in the second floor unit. Units are separated by two locking doors and guests have access to the rental unit through private entrances in the front and back of the house.

This is a private and peaceful basement living space to relax and have some quiet time to yourself. The unit is a living room studio setting with a kitchen area. It has a separate bathroom and extra storage space.

- "I stayed three nights in October. The Likes: Close to the subway. It is a "walkable" distance for me to the subway, but one could also take a bus that stops almost in front of the house. The key was left for me in a locker, which I could open with a code. The place has a private shower, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and bedroom. It looked clean and well-maintained. There is no street noise as the suite is at the back of the house. The dislikes: As the stock pictures show, it is an old house. The big bathroom towels were wet. They probably did not spend enough time in the dryer. I had to dry them on hangers. The flat sheets and pillowcases were made from artificial and non-breathing fabric. On the last night, I had to use one of the towels to separate myself from the sticky sheets. There was no container for the soap in the shower. You could hear the owners upstairs in the morning, and depending on how deeply you sleep, you could be woken up by the activities. On the last day, I also noticed a cockroach. Since I did not notice them on the previous days, I'm guessing the owners are trying to keep them under control."
