Shuttle to Grau Roig ski area was very convenient. Spa was really nice. Indoor and outdoor hot tub, Sauna, steam room and cold plunge were very pleasant after skiing. Would stay here again. Offered indoor (very tight) parking if needed. Narrowly managed a Mazda CX30. Don’t know how a bigger car can make it! Only thing I wish I knew was that Andorra has major elevation changes in just a short distance. The hotel is at about 6600 feet and you need chains or socks for your wheels if you want to make it during any snow. Great place to stay and we were very happy here. Elena and Darturo (I think… sorry if I got that wrong) were great help. "

When we came back at 4pm we still didn't have any, so we had to go back to reception, which is a long way away, and ask again. They apologised and said they had a problem with the cleaners. I got the impression that the cleaning staff had too much work to do. That same night we had no internet. Once again we had to go to reception, which was closed and didn't open until 4pm. All day we had no Wi-Fi. At 4pm the receptionist said that in 10 minutes someone would fix the Wi-Fi and no-one turned up. We had no Wi-Fi for almost 2 days and when it came back it was extremely slow, you could barely open Google. I was really disappointed because the photos of the room looked like one thing and when they arrived it was something completely different, when we saw the photos we were under the impression that we would have a balcony and we didn't. We didn't have a balcony."

This cosy apartment is in the heart of Sant Pere del Tarter, just a few steps from the Grandvalira slopes, where you can enjoy alpine skiing, snowboarding and freestyle skiing in the winter months. In the summer there is hiking, mountain bking and climbing.

Explore the stunning Tristaina Lakes (55 minutes); hike through the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley (27 minutes) or discover the history of mining on the Iron Route. For more adventurs escape into nature in the Comapedrosa Valley Natural Park (40 minutes).

In the months of winter it becomes a ski village. You can ski along the 210 km of the Grandvalira ski area, the largest resort in the Pyrenees. Accessible from Encamp, Canillo, El Tarter, Soldeu, Grau Roig, Pas de la Casa.

The town is 1841 meters above sea level and the top of the ski area is 2580 meters above sea level. The cable car, originating from the village, reaches 2250 meters above sea level where the snowboarding and ski schools are located, as well as some restaurants. From here it is possible to ski to the top of the El Tarter cable car or to the same village of El Tarter by the track called 'Gall de Bosc'.

In summer it is the ideal place to start countless marked routes in the mountains, glacial lakes, impressive valleys, incredible views, access to the Grandvalira mountain amusement park, tobotronc, etc.
